11  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / 3mm or 5mm popper fatening pliers/setters- do they exist?? on: March 28, 2008 12:13:06 PM
I have been searching the web for a pair of pliers/setters which will set 3mm or 5mm poppers, for the Blythe clothing I'm making.

It takes too long to sew on all the poppers- this would make my life a whole lot easier- but all I can find are eyelet makers, or poppafasteners for 10mm and up.

Any help, please??  Smiley

14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Blythe hats, coats and dresses on: November 22, 2007 05:19:01 AM
I've been making Blythe hats, coats and  dresses for the last couple of months, waiting for my Enchanted Petal Blythe to arrive.

(I've also put a post about the hats on the knitting forum)

The dress is made from Kaffe Fassett quilting material (there are more dresses to come, but I can't post pics yet as they are secret santa gifts).

I based the coat patterns on patterns available online.

Ok, I've finally got my Blythe doll, and I have been knitting hats for her for the last couple of months. My faves are the nepalese style ones.  Smiley

There is also a Tardis sweater it's called 'the tardigan' (even though it's a sweater, not a cardie)  Grin

And how about making the Doctor as a basic doll, then seperately knit wigs and clothes so you can make him regenerate??  Cheesy
19  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Petite Blythe Dress TUTORIAL (or small doll dress) on: September 10, 2007 01:09:15 PM
I looked at this tut, and it made me think of Sylvanian Families clothing!

I wonder if some of those would fit Petite Blythes?? (I'll have to borrow some from my daughters collection for my Petite)  Cheesy

I got Sugar and Spice too, I couldn't stand the dress, so I immediately knitted her a new one.  Grin

My boys often look at Craftster with me, and they are now squealing and jumping up and down going "ooh, ooh Mummy, you've GOT to make a Mudkip blanket!"  Roll Eyes

 Cheesy

Nice blanket btw!  Grin
