I'm loving these pics, and the coat is lovely too (the thumbnail photo confused me for a second, I thought 'that dog has a tail just like a cat!')  Roll Eyes

Do you mind linking to the pattern? I love this and can rarely find knits that are punkish.

Here is the link to the 'flames' chart I found online.
The cardie pattern is just a modded normal baby cardie, I just added the short moss stitch placket for the buttons/buttonholes and sewed them on after (the fronts knit up quicker too, if you don't have to count buttonholes)  Wink

Any chance of the pattern for the llamas, please?

I've been trying to find an alpaca or llama pattern for over a year now, for my 12 yr old son- he wants to be an alpaca and dachshund breeder (not cross breeding them, lol)  Shocked Grin

He's asked me over and over to knit him a (wait for it) blue alpaca (distant kin to your rejects?) in alpaca.

please!! Smiley
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / flaming pirate mini cardie on: February 07, 2010 03:00:29 PM

I was asked by some biker friends to make thier baby girl some 'baby biker knitted stuff that wasn't pink' for when we all went on holiday together, and this was the result.

It has a short pirate style moss stitch placket on the front, with enamel skull buttons and those flames, well, lets say it was a labour of love!!

The flames pattern is a slightly modified version of the one by 'bikerchicknits'.

They were thrilled, and it only got finished on day 3 of our holiday!!!  Roll Eyes

Oh, she also got this hat a modded 1960's pattern...  Grin

I've decided to enter this guy into Harry Hills the 'K Factor' comp (UK peeps may have heard of this, Harry Hill is a comedian, who has a knitted character called Knitted Character'!!

Hope he gets shown!!

PS, I edited the titles of the previous posts, and updated the pattern, hence the edits  Smiley
