That is awesome! I got excited when I was scrolling through the "recently posted projects" and I spotted this. I just saw Up recently and loved it, and your gingerbread house totally brought that to mind before I even spotted it inspired you. Great job!

27  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: The random RESIN question thread! on: April 08, 2009 02:07:54 PM
sometimes, depending on how heavy the item is that ur embedding, you have to let the first layer of resin fully cure til its hard and then you put the item in and then add a second layer of resin over it. its the resin layering process that helps.

This almost answers my question! Smiley Here is what I want to do. I want to layer some resin, but when I pour on the 2nd layer, it seems I never wait quite long enough and it "clouds" with the previous layer. If I let it harden completely, even overnight or for a couple of days (I can only do it when it's warm since in the house is out of the question, and this means the weather isn't always nice for it) if I go back with a 2nd layer, will it form together as one piece, or will it weaken and break apart where the 2nd layer has been poured on? Thanks! Smiley
