21  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / ZigZag Messenger Bag* on: December 27, 2008 09:53:08 AM
I finished this bag the day before Christmas to give to my little sister her favorite colors of course are pink and black....

She got an Xbox360 so she was too busy playing that to model it for me so I had to.

Close up of the outside.

Close up of the inside........and I figure she would carry it to school with pens and pencils in it and since its crochet they would poke right through so I tried to put fabric inside and that navy was all I had plus my sewing machine went crazy on my so I had to do it all by hand goo!!

She is 15 and just hit the make up stage so I got her some make up and Halo 3 for her Xbox which I had put in the purse when she opened it.

Hope ya enjoy!
Comments good or bad welcome!

23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Redwings Scarf on: December 19, 2008 09:49:12 PM
So I made everyone crochet gifts for christmas money was scarce...anywho my aunt is a huge Detroit Red Wings fan...I know she has their leather jacket so I decided to make her this scarf to go along with it!!!

A Close up....

I used felt and freehand I guess...

The orginal idea was to use yarn and make the shape but the stitch I used didn't really let that happen so my next idea was to buy patches and put them on there.

but as you can see with the pen in there to give you a scale they were super small so I just made my own!!!

Hope ya like!

28  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Discussion and Questions / Conditioning on: August 30, 2008 05:03:46 PM
I'm new to the whole Polymer Scene, but when I run my clay through the pasta machine is gets all feathery and has jagged edges how do I avoid that.

AND how to I make sheets that aren't like that either?!?

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / K20<3 on: August 30, 2008 12:41:56 PM
I made this shirt for my boyfriend because he drives a Honda and loves everything about Honda. Anywho we are both gear heads and his lovely tunner car has a K20 motor in it so he wanted a K20 love shirt.

There was some over spray to the shirt, but I liked it. It makes it look rather industrial and sorta like a license plate.

And here is his car....ignore me we were washing it.
