1  A way to use up your fabric scraps! in Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions by Almost Lucky on: September 10, 2006 08:51:35 AM
Not exactly handbag related, sorry! but im sure i saw a similar thread in here once, which i can't find again or i would post in there. Undecided
well, anyway, not an original idea, but in case you hadnt thought of it before, or just to remind you...coasters and placemats are a great way to use up your fabric scraps!

and if you used cotton bias binding instead of ribbon you could probary bung them in a delicates wash to get rid of stains  Huh

so, there you go!

4  Varoom Summer Cruising! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Almost Lucky on: May 26, 2006 04:57:42 AM
Hey
Finished this bag..at like midnight the other day. Its not perfect..somehow...i managed to sew the handles slightly squiffy...and the applique was my first attempt at zigzag stiching-nuff said!
but..nevertheless..im fairly pleased...what do you all think?

sorry the pic is a bit fuzzy...don't know why that is...hm
inside:   yeah..maybe won't use such a dark colour to stich on the pocket in future-eh! lol

Edited to add: Just finished this half an hour ago...
