21  Re: Chinese Zodiac Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ForevrBee on: April 04, 2005 02:11:48 PM
Now I have a chance to show what I got, today from sukireru. Packaged in multi-colored feathers were:
A little pocket mirror with a rooster painted on one side & the kanji (I think?) for "rooster" on the other and 3 pair of earrings in red, green and gold leaves or feathers (again I don't know. May be more the prior, but then again she did send feathers as part of the packaging). Also, I didn't get pics of these, but she also sent two flower hair clips.

Thanks!

22  Re: Favorite Movie Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by ForevrBee on: March 21, 2005 02:00:01 PM
First of all, I apologize for the quality of the pics, because the scanner cut of parts of what Sagoz made from my fave movie of all time "Stand By Me.
A pillow of with a stencil of Vern

And in the back, what's supposed to be a zipper compartment with the movie title below.

I love it + Vern (and JO'C as an actor for that matter), I think is both an example of "the Underdog remains triumphant" & the old "Ugly Duckling into Beautiful Swan" addage.

I got my "Stuffies" from DithMer yesterday, but didn't get a chance to post earier because of certain events (because of the overly strong wind, Dad was involved in one of at least 3 semi flip-overs, shutting down Interstate 80. Luckly he came out O.K. Just a little brused.) Any way I like that these are also magnets.

Thanks.

I've just recieved my second batch of stuff from wenderella today (allbeit she had just PM'd me about it earlier in the day).
A journal with sticker sheets tucked inside

A set of 4 coasters with cute little flower-shaped stars on them.

What looks to be a doorstop (?)

A bag for to store C.D.s with the SP heart embroidered on it.

And a large cover of the SP album "Adore"

(this is just a piece of the pic. Scanner couldn't get it all.)

Thanks!

25  Re: 7 days-a week swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by ForevrBee on: February 28, 2005 03:19:50 PM
So now it's the mod's turn. With bracelets/cuffs themed with lyrics with each day mentioned.

Monday,Thursday ,Friday & Saturday

Tuesday, Wednesday & Sunday.
And because the scanner couldn't get all of what they say
Sunday: "Watch them fly Sundays"
Monday: "feelin' like a Monday"
Tuesday: "Maybe Tuesday will be my good news day"
Wednesday: "Waiting For Wednesday"
Thusrday: "..Thursday..is..a.. hard..workin..day.. "
Friday: "Friday I'm in love"
Saturday: "go to town on Saturday". Personally, my fave bracelet of the 7.
Also craft_dame sent along a mixed cd of songs with days either in or mentioned in the song (I've yet to listen to it).
 I love it all!   Grin

This post is aeons old, but I made a new one to replace the "Here Is No Why" that somehow got lost. this one I use a sheet of that paper that  leaves an "imprint" of something when you leave it in the sun for a few minutes.. then I just cut out the pic, glued it to the pin & covered it with packaging tape.

28  Pin Pillow in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by ForevrBee on: January 22, 2005 12:27:13 PM
As I needed something to put all the button pins I'm collecting on, I thought of something like the earring/pin holders I've seen before & why not D.I.Y. I just took a rectangle of cardboard and some of the fabric from the Pringles Swap in the shape of the cardboard, stapled three of the sides to it, stuffed, then stapled the other side together.

This can be moved if it doesn't really belong in this topic.

I got my stuff from DithMer finally

A mirror, although  cut-off by the scanner, decorated with various clippings & also painted light blue (Color I associate with Libra)

A necklace, with a cursive Libra (I believe) done in wire. Very Good Looking.

Thanks!

30  Re: Vagina Pillow in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by ForevrBee on: January 12, 2005 02:31:28 PM

this is the first one I ever made, I actually forgot to put in the urethra!!! since then, my boyfriend's received a matching set, I've got one in my dorm room [blue/brown], and I've got a pink/brown set at my house that I've been meaning to sell.

they're fairly easy to make, the time consuming part is stuffing the thing! [yes, I know, "I need to go stuff my vagina." laugh it up, because I do!]
WOW!!!
