I recently made this plastic bag holder out of some strips of fabric, elastic and some cute dotted ribbon. I have just started learning to sew and thought this would be a good first project.

I have just started learning to sew and this is the first thing I made without any guidance at all. It's a little too big for my machine but it does the trick.

I put a little slit in the top for the handle to fit through if need be. I also cut out a bit so there is space for the cables.

Hi there,

I have just started playing around with wire and came up with the pendant below. Unfortunately the photo isn't the greatest. I used glass beads as well as faceted and round metal beads.

I'm looking into purchasing an inexpensive torch to solder silver (rings etc) with.

I have been reading different articles, and am still not sure what direction I should head in.

Hi there,

I had my first chance to attempt setting a stone in class. I thought the whole process was kinda cool. I don't know how happy I am with this piece. I am a beginner and all but I messed up on the bail and the perfectionist in me isn't happy about it

The pendant is about 2 inches across, it's made of silver that I sandblasted.

I think it's kinda cute, I made it for my sister for her birthday.

This is the first silver pendant that I have made...I came up with the design quite quickly before class last week...I have decided that I looovvvveee working with metal and have enrolled in a college course to learn more.
