here is mine! i needed something to A) go over a strapless dress and B) to use up some extra yarn i had

i was a little worried about fixing it to my six but since i was using red heart i figured it would turn out a little smaller than if i had used chunky wool like the first person did, and it turned out awesomely and cant wait to wear it...its my first shirt/sweater like thing ever, ive been scared to make them up til now so maybe i will start to venture from hats scarves and afghans

Row3: ch4, (hdc,ch2), *5hdc, ch2, hdc in same sc as last hdc,  4hdc* repeat to end, join
Row 4: ch1 *(sc, ch2, sc) in 1st ch2 sp, sc in each hdc* to end. Finish off CA
Row 5: Join CB in a ch2 sp, repeat Row 4, End CB
Row 6: Join CA with (sc, ch4, dc) in ch 2 sp, *ch1, sk1, sc, (make bobble-refer below-, ch2) 3 times, dc in ch2 sp* continue around to end. Finish CA
Row 7: Join CB in ch2 sp *(sc, ch2, sc) in sp, sc in next sc, tr in ch 1sp connecting to previous row* continue around
Row 8: ch7, *sk3 and ch4, dc, sk 3 and ch4, hdc, sk3 and ch4, sc in ch2 sp, sk3 and ch4, hdc, sk3 and ch4, dc, ch7, sc in ch2 sp, sc to next sp* once more
Row 9: 3sc, ch3, sc in same sp as last sc to make corner, *sc across to dc, 3sc, make corner* to end. finish off

To make Bobble: (yo, pull loop through) 4times, yo and pull through all loops on hook.

so i have a problem with browsing afghan patterns and finding ones i cant wait to start, so i do...regardless of whether im already making a blanket....

these are the three im trying to finish before finding yet another pattern i want to make!

close ups!

this is the lacy victorian pattern i found http://pandacrochet.8m.com/lacyvictorian.html

this is my october blanket that im not sure if its going to be a baby blanket for a baby that doesnt exist or if i'll make it bigger. i got it from another thread that decided to do a year round blanket http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=117318.0

and finally my manly blanket..i havent made one for my dad yet and found a square called "manly square" and i thought perfect, father's day present http://www.texasdg.net/daynascrochet/pattern.asp?id=46

hope you enjoy, id love to see what other Afghans Whores are working on!!

8  Re: Headbands!! *Pics* in Completed Projects by chillsession on: February 13, 2007 05:18:23 PM
i just used a cheap plastic headband and glued the fabric to it

i just cut out this shape

then lined it up on the headband and glued it down

then i didnt get a picture of this bc i got too into the project but you just fold in the edges to the center of the headband.

then for a little finish i just wrapped a small piece of ribbon around the edge

thanks for your comments
