great shirt, when my brother was at Brown his prof. would tell me how opposing teams would chant "Brown, Brown, the color of shit!" at games. The dorms I saw there were teeny weeny, have fun.

Great job Pristinity!!!  The journal looks YUMMY!!!  I never want to write in the really nice ones like these...I guess I don't want to ruin it with my writing!!!  I hope Trip_and_fall doesn't have that problem!!!  They are meant to be used!!!

yes I do, Its sits on my desk, everytime I think of something to write in it, I end up writing it on a sticky note for the sake of gorgeous paper. maybe I'll press flowers in it until I'm not frightened of ruining it.

oh wow! I have a green cheek conure too! My baby (chile) loves to cuddle in anything, he has about three snuggly bags, a nest-box, and when he's tired he'll go in your shirt. great job, I know he'll use it every night.

Smiley So I got my package from Pristinity on Thursday, and I opened up the box and the first thing I saw was the wonderful wrapping/box she made, its so precious, I love little stuff like that.

So thats a group picture of two bracelets, a gorgeous hair tie, a little journal (thanks so much!) and the wrapping box.

And then she also made this great quilted wall hanging, I think I'm going to put it over my closet door.

This swap was great fun--I hope we do a round two!
26  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re-furbished MONSTER Chair! on: October 07, 2006 11:28:17 AM
One day, while browsing the vast and bleak aisles of Wal-Mart (Mall-Wart) I came upon some monster fabric. I bought it, and hours later, finished the chair of my dreams! from ugly purple to fabulous fur!

close up of fur

Edit: to tack on the fabric, I had to first take the back and the seat off. Then, I used a staple hammer (you could use a staple gun too) to staple the fabric over the old.
