1  Texas / Texas: Coastal / Deer Park, Texas, St. Hyacinth Annual Fall Craft Show on: June 30, 2009 07:33:46 AM
My friend, Sharon and I, (Beth)  will be at the St. Hyacinth Annual Fall Craft Show on November 14, 2009, 9AM to 4PM. Our booth is located outside underneath the covered pavilion, on the front left corner. There will be over 80 booths! It is always a HUGE show, with LOTS of people!
The address is 2921 Center St, Deer Park, Tx. Very easy to find in the Houston area.
Sharon's stuff is one of a kind! No patterns or molds! Sharon creates most of her art with polymer clay, including clay on canvas! And so much more!
I, Beth, love making one of a kind jewelry, purses, shabby chic, upcycled art, and much more!
Please join us for a unique and fun shopping experience!
See you there!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Baseball caps made into purses? on: July 15, 2006 09:15:44 AM
Just wondering if anyone else had this idea: How to turn a baseball cap into a purse? My husband has 2 large garbage bags full of caps! Most were from people he has known in his business.
Maybe cut them apart and sew on a base fabric? Use grommets throught the bill of the cap?
I think they would be so different and cute! Talk about an attention getter!
And, I alway see tons of them at the thrift stores, and they are cheap!
Any thoughts?
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Plastic dry cleaner bags + wire coat hangers=Poodle; Need Help! on: July 07, 2006 12:58:28 PM
I have been searching for a long time trying to find the instructions to make a poodle out of plastic dry cleaner bags and wire coat hangers. When I was in Girl Scouts (a very long time ago), one of my Mother's friends made them and sold them.  All I really remember is that the "body" frame was made out of the wire, and maybe the bags were cut in strips and attached, like rug hooking?
Does anyone know what I am talking about?
Help is much appreciated!
