It's beautiful! I love bright colors for baby things.

I have that pattern and have been wanting to start it... it looks great on you! Well done.

That is stunning. I'm sure she'll be thrilled.

I've been looking for inspiration to try applique, and you've just given it to me. Thanks!

Oh, man, that's awesome. We're going to cloth diaper, too, and I can whip some of these out really quickly. And imagine smaller gauge ones with little cables on them!

Thanks for the idea!

16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: A couple of skirts! on: May 19, 2008 03:43:36 PM
We used to go to Hart's Fabrics with my grandma all the time! Fond memories.

Your skirts are lovely. I especially like the print on the first one. Try to stay cool!
17  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: Don't Bleed on the Carpet cross stitch on: May 19, 2008 03:42:14 PM
I'm going to show this post to my husband. When he was little and playing outside, he cut himself really badly, and his mother (who with four older children could spot a serious versus superficial wound miles away) said, "Don't you track blood into this house." He thinks that was really funny.

The stitching is beautifully done, too!
18  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: 16" Plush Grasshopper--what should I name him? on: May 19, 2008 03:39:35 PM
That is seriously cool and luscious. Nice job!
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: the zipper on: May 19, 2008 03:36:02 PM
That is so thoughtful, creative and funny! He will be thrilled. I wish him a speedy recovery.
20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A holder for your cable needle while knitting on: May 14, 2008 10:39:27 AM
You smarty pants! I usually stick my cable needle in the knitted piece somewhere, which means it ends up on the floor. This is a great solution.
