I turned this piece of embroidery into a notecard...

Used chain stitch, back stitch, french knots & lazy daisy.

A received a polymer clay kit from artsy_pants in the DIY kit swap so that very same evening I made this....



It's no where near perfect but I'm pretty pleased with my first attempt!  Thanks for looking.

myloveasdeep needs an angel and these are her details:

Items you can make: Knit, sew, crochet, stencil, homemade paper, kool-aid dyed yarn, felted beads
Items you would like (guideline only): stuff to carry my lunch in! I mean containers/sandwich bags/ lunchbag/box. Candles. Kitchen stuff. Magnets.
Favourite colours/combos: Red, brown, green, orange
Favourite patterns/symbols etc: cute little japanese animals, polka-dots
Favorite materials: doesn't matter
Anything you would not like: I don't need any purses or bags.

Clothes sizes: Medium. Shoe 7.5
Jewellry sizes: My neck is 13", wrist 6".
Fave accessories (purses, headbands, belts etc with sizes if necessary): pins, headbands
Anything else you'd like your partner to know (vegetarian/vegan/allergies etc)? vegetarian. I get hives from really harsh wool..thanks for crafting for me!

I made this for craftydeb in the OW12 swap but thought I'd post it here too.  It's mainly backstitch with a bit of chain, lazy daisy and french knots.



I should have ironed it before taking photos!

I made this for the 4Rs swap and I thought I'd post it here as I'm very proud of it!  It was once a dress and I've got quite a bit left so hoping to use it for something else soon.  Maybe I'll make one for myself too.

Items you would like (guideline only): would love a sturdy bag for grocery shopping and any jewelery (except earrings)
Favourite colours/combos: pinks, blues, browns, colours of ocean & peacocks!
Favourite patterns/symbols: polka dots, circles, retro
Favorite materials: cotton & linen
Anything you would not like: anything dark/ too religious
Clothes sizes: UK 12 (US 8-10 I think?)
Jewellry sizes: don't know ring size, any length necklace is fine.
Fave accessories (purses, headbands, belts etc with sizes if necessary) like belts, purses & headbands
Anything else you'd like your partner to know (vegetarian/vegan/allergies etc)? Just PM me if you need to know anything.

You must make one large item and two-three smaller items.  Make more if you would like to but agree with your partner first to avoid embarrasment & swap anxiety!

All items should be hand made and fit in to one of the R categories: reduce, reuse, recycle and revamp
So reduce could be a reusable grocery bag to avoid using the shops carrier/paper bags.  Or revamp something from a thrift store into a useful item.  The possibilities are endless and I'll post some more ideas soon.
