A first for me- a Golf Club Cover. A special order from my friend Shannon Grissom. She liked the idea of a golf club cover made in the likeness of her famous sock monkey.

25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Easy Little Entrelac Potholder on: April 22, 2007 09:45:34 PM
I haven't knit anything in months and was going through some withdrawels... solution? A quick one skein project.

This is my first Entrelac project.
I like the technique, but I don't think I'd use it for clothes... maybe accesories like scarves and bags, but not sweaters.  My knitting skills have suffered going unused for so long. But, that is the joy of a felted project... you can't even see the knitting. Wink You can see the ... shall we say... less than squareness of my square though. ^.^

I found the pattern for the entrelac at Criminy Jickets. (cute blog name)

I used Patons SWS in natural green and size 11 needles. And added the little i-cord loop on one end.

The tutorial is here http://tylertinsley.com/2007/04/11/how-to-make-your-own-perfect-bound-books/

The most challenging sock monkey I have ever attempted is finally finished.

I have been staring at him so long I don't know if he looks ok, or if I'm just used to him.
