I would love for you to go to Utah with us some summer and we can have a craft off with your family--zombie/vampire crafties on one side, wholesome LDS crafty goodness on the other (although, I think your grandma may have a sick interest in our crafties. . . shhh... i won't tell)!!! You need to move closer! I'd craft with you till you turned errr--uhhh--green??

This is great!  What would you say is the easiness of making a bag like this? I have very very  little experience with a sewing machine, but would love to give something like this a try.  So good for beginners?
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Stuffed felt monsters - Now with tutorial and pictures (fixed!) on: March 13, 2006 06:05:54 PM
this tutorial was exactly what I needed to get started on dolls again! I"ve never attempted a completely cloth doll before, but it actually looks easier than I expected!   Grin

I love this doll! She is fabulous, no face and all. I've attempted dolls before but never with many positive results, but seeing so many great ones on here gives me hope!  Thanks for posting.

here are two pics of my gifts, I went on a marble binge and couldn't stop myself so I made a scary amount, they wouldn't all fit in the photos neatly.

I have to say, this was a great craft to begin with for my involvment here on craftster! Thanks all, for the great ideas.

Shocked wow! It worked. (I'm new to digital technology)  I had to dust those guys off they've been just sitting in the spare room for a few years, the glue (tacky) dried shiny, you can really see it with the flash from the camera.  I think if given some real time and a little better tools, a project like this on a larger scale could turn out really cool!

So here goes my attempt at posting some pics of my river rock message boards.

this should take you to an image of the smaller board i made, it's a little neater looking.

Here is a shot of both boards I made. the larger one is just three small square cork boards tacky glued together, same with the rocks and little frogs.

and the last image is a closer look at the large board.  I had placed random rocks on the board and along some of the seams to hide them a little.
