1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / A sexy costume for a poor college student on: September 22, 2008 06:40:08 PM
Halloween is a month away but being that I'm a poor college student i have to make my costume, and therefor have to get started now.  I have spent my whole life being soemthing quirky and funny for halloween and this year i jsut want to be like all the other college girls and leave my morals at home for the night.

Im only 5 feet tall and about a size 16, I want to be sexy but still slightly covered up .. if this makes sense?
I was just wondering if people had suggestions? What have others been past halloweens?

a book safe is like in the movies when the inside of teh book is cut out so things can be hidden inside it, but when u see it on a book shelf it looks normal. if u search it on craftster you shoud find some good tutorials. i made one for my bf , he thinks its great, its wehre we put condoms tee heee! my bf is in the military, so i feel the whole long distance thing( atleast we are in the same province again though!!)

but here are soem idea:
  • someone on here talked about matching underwear, whihc is perfect for the two of u since hes AF, make him boxers that say "pilot" and ur underwear that says "cockpit" you could send him a pic of the underwear( probably not on you though, that would be considered too sexy?
  • a booksafe, moainly cuz they are cool, but u could fill it with things to remind him of you( sample of ur perfume, a pic of you...
  • a photobooth picture of you, in the first pic you holding a sigh saying "I" second "miss"third pic "you"(is this making sense?) or i love you, and in the last pic, you blowing him a kiss

umm thats all i've got for now
hope these are helpful
8  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / custom made wedding dress? on: May 12, 2008 07:28:10 AM
i feel sort of silly posting this now, since i have no ring or date, but i am one of those ppl who like to be prepared.

anyway, i was wondering what the cost of a custon made wedding dress would be. is there any way of cutting down on this cost.unfortunately, neither me or any of my relatives are talented seamtresses, that goes for my FH's side as well.

i've been looking through some wedding dresses but there isnt really anything that is teh way i want it?

suggestions, comment, and your own experiences would be very helpful!!!!!
9  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / MY LDR on: March 25, 2008 06:09:59 PM
My boyfriend and i have been dating for 3 years, and he recently joined the military. It has been really weird since we used to live so close that we saw each other everyday.

Last time he was home I snatched one of his blankets, its one of the blankets off his bed and the one we always used when we snuggled on the couch together.

I wanted to make it more personal so i sew 3 hearts on the bottom corner, 1 for every year we have been together.  I want to personalze it a bit more but im not sure what else to put on it. i hand stitched these on. thanks for looking!
