Thanks for the link...so nice to have a few to select from to keep it from getting boring!

Maremare--do you want to add this pattern link to the first page?

wow--I am amazed at how many items you made fantasticmio!!

After reading all of the pages I missed, I have reconsidered what I consider "stash"...I think you need options when creativity strikes...if I make dotees, I need to know I have several options for hair...if I make notecards, I need papers to pick from...so to me, stash is anything I have on hand for non-specific projects...

I want to destash because some of the supplies have become too large because instead of using what I have, I want something else...I am trying to use of the impulse buying fabrics and yarns the most...stuff I bought because it was on sale or a good deal for "someday"...

I actually used up about a yard of heavy duty denim that was in my stash...and a great deal of a vintage collection of fat quarters!

I agree with Mio--anything leftover is a scrap but it is still part of the stash...I need to find projects for the scraps as well! (dotee swap here I come!!)...

Thanks all for sharing such neat info on stashing and destashing!!

Checking out all the fabulous projects so far in June!  I just finished up the Awesome Swap, which took me forever to finish ONE thing!!! I do have some pics to post, but maybe this weekend...I am pooped from doing swaps, so I just joined small ones for the rest of the summer!

cursivequeen--your monkey quilt is so perfect for a new baby--I like it much better than some of the more traditional colors and patterns!

The zen garden you made envirocraft is just such a unique project...

I know some of you have slowed down a bit, and sometimes you have to do that to get your mojo back...my DH just finished his painting, which took six months to complete!!!  He is taking a little break before starting the next one, so we are spending some time together drinking margaritas and watching the fireflies... Cheesy

Hope to be crafting a lot this weekend!!!

It turned out great!  What a nice repurpose to a tray!  It is calming to play with sand...your little rake is so cute...

You have such interesting projects...love this one!

I always tell my DH not to comment until I am done...I sometimes start out with an ugly duckling...but usually end up with a swan! Cheesy

Since most of my partners are open to anything, I think I am going to do dotees a la smmart...one theme, but each different...sort of like a signature dotee!

I am going to have to come up with a special way to make the faces in order to do what I want...I am so excited!

19270  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Crocheted Rug Red White and Blue on: June 21, 2010 07:55:43 AM
You must be a super crocheter!  It took me forever to make my little t-shirt rug! Cheesy

I think it turned out great...I love these rugs because they are a random pattern and they are so practical and functional!!

What size hook did you use and also, did you single or double crochet?  I can't really see...

one last thing:  so patriotic!!
