I am amazed at your ingenuity!!  I never would have thought to melt the bags to make labels...such a great recycling project!  I bet you can't wait to plant!  I also think it is a lovely display!

Also love the lantern and the reversible apron!  The flower pins are so festive...are those little skulls as centers?

You are so smart to document your life's journey this way! I love that you highlight only a few pics...easy on the eyes and interesting to look at!

Your sis is such a ham--I bet she will love to see your finished pages!

We have been decluttering and gardening all April--ha ha --it is ongoing for some of us...

Thanks for the link over to the Holiday Craftalong, pixieval!  I try to check out all the threads at least once a week, if not more, just to see how everyone is doing!  Boy, it is hard to keep up with some of these Craftsters: some are doing so many swaps and craftalongs I have no idea when they eat or sleep! Cheesy

Pixieval--you better post a pic every month or so just to make sure you stay neat and organized!  I am going to put up two shelves tonight and then take pics--I think you will be amazed at my before and afters!!!  I have not purchased anything new yet and I plan on spending 15 minutes each day putting stuff away unless I am working on a project...I got two big baskets to put current projects in and they can stack if I need more!  Thanks to all for your encouragement and tips!!  I feel 10 pounds lighter now that the clutter is banished!!

Yeah--pin injuries are quite common in my house, so I try to do a sweep with my magnetic pincushion after every project! I plan on ripping out the carpet in my sewing room so I at least can spot them before they land in my toe!! Cheesy
19268  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Spring/summer clothes for me {img heavy} on: April 27, 2010 11:43:29 AM
oh thanks!  I dragged out my serger last night and am getting reaquainted with its many features!  I will try it out...again, you and your clothing are beautiful and makes me want to refresh my own wardrobe! Cheesy
19269  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Crafty Detective Round 6- the gallery! on: April 27, 2010 11:41:22 AM
I absolutely love the letters...but the best pic is of the baby chewing on them...melted my heart!!

What a great thing to receive!! The variety of fabrics is wonderful and colorful--and looks like would be a great project to use up small scraps! Lovely job!

**pinches cute pie's cheeks***just too cute...

Makes me want to do another Blythe clothes swap!! It is so much fun to make clothes and accessories!

You should check out some of the past threads because there are all sorts of links to patterns for crochet, knit, sewn!
