I do it because I am cheap!! Cheesy

ooo--I found this --making your own syrup from black walnut trees and a milk carton collector!

Thanks for sharing that infor nataluna!  I know exactly what they are now!!  I have hundreds of those beads in my drawer and never knew what to make (I used them for jewelry at one time!)...wow...love it!

I am also experimenting with a non-fabric dotee...it is a bit challenging since fabric is my medium, too, but FUN!!

what a fun way to spend Sunday admiring those lovely inchies!

I love your backgrounds lisaredd!  Noooo--your drawings always make me smile!

Looks like I better not miss a day...they are pouring in!  I need to start at the beginning and see what I missed!

I wanted to get the inchies from my first inchies swap displayed before the send out of the Alphabet Inchies...A lot of my friends have no concept of this form of art, so I was trying to think of a way to rattle their artsy genes a bit!

I got this idea from a commercial I saw on printers...funny where inspiration comes...anyway, ladies, let me present the inchies you sent to me to contribute to this!

test placement:                                                                 final placement:

Detail of tail--I made a sheet of each set of inchies that I posted with the artist name to put on the back--but to be honest, I recognize pretty much who did what!!  See if you can spot some of yours, lovely partners!

Thank you for a wonderful experience!

congrats on your first swap and your list, britness!

I got one big project done on my list!  I finally made something to display the inchies I got in my first inchies swap!  I didn't want to just frame them, so I got the idea from that commercial for printers that had the peacock with a photo tail...here is what I came up with...I also posted more details in the swap http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334742.msg3979397#msg3979397:

yay--scratch that baby off the list!

this member is a Stampin up consultant and is super helpful--maybe she can help with your research (she makes the cutest things!)

Maremare--I have appreciated all the links sent to me by you and so many others!  I got a discount on tea, free toothpaste, free paper, and free magazines so far!  I am stoked for free!

I am doing my nephew's 30th birthday party with a lot of freebies, but the most awesome was the very inexpensive rainbow cupcakes!  I priced cakes for 50 people and fancy ones were about $40 at costco!  The cupcakes will be cuter and in the theme ( he and his partner and friends will really appreciate a nonjudgemental environment in my house!)...ok--off to craft--I have swap partners who are expecting stuff!!
18598  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: craftalong to, post a project on every completed projects board in craftster on: March 28, 2010 12:21:12 AM
we will help you--a lot of us have the same fears but we have pretty much been giving each other ideas how to get through them...for instance, weaving--you can make a simple loom and make a belt or swatch for a purse..

there is a complete tutorial on how to spin and make your own spindle

machine embroidery--we have an awesome link--I will see if I can find it for you

everyone is pulling for everyone--and some butt kicking has happened as well!! Cheesy

yes, it is gorgeous--I think as long as you have a project in mind, that it doesn't count...and, if it is going to someone else... Cheesy

I am fascinated by the junk mail coasters...any links on how they are done?

the frame is a good find...and a nice save!

The bag is the best--adding the mushrooms updates the plaid and the lining is wonderful as well...

this stuff is definitely better the second time around!!!
