What a fun way to pixalate!  I love how you took that project and still made it into your style---a closeup of each of the little squares reveals another surprise design...simply fine workmanship and a great idea that turned this into one of my favorites!

I loved the themed dotees as well--they were similar but yet so different...I was very excited when I saw them posted because I kind of knew what mine would be like...it was a lot of fun to guess what color, what trim, etc.

And I still play with my wonderful Operation find the objects dotee!  Everyone loves that one for sure! Cheesy

I don't have a theme either...I like making one at a time as the mood strikes me!!  I have ideas for each person on my list, so I feel ready to get going gathering materials!

I have tried and tried to knit socks...I cannot figure out the circulars or the DPN's...my friend bongirl5 is hopefully coming to visit over the holidays so I am going to make her show me!!  She teaches knitting so she can surely teach me!!

I think my friend is going to take the sock thing back...she read the instructions and it takes about 8 hours to make one sock...she likes instant gratification so she already knows she won't do it...shucks--I was hoping to borrow it! Sad

ugh--I can relate--we have had the furnace people in four times this week and still no answer as to whether is it a $200 or $2000 repair!  Thank goodness for stash!

Thanks for the compliments...my friend bought a sock loom today!!!!  It works just like a knifty knitter except it makes socks!

Laughing Lark--it looks like one of your looms--the skinny one...I wonder if those would be adaptable to make these socks?  The loom was $24, but with 50% off, it was worth it to her as she does not knit...

Anyone here every use one of those to make socks?  I have lots of sock yarn that needs to be used up!
