I had to remove permanent marker off of something valuable and the site I went to said to use zinc oxide white ointment...you have to let it dry and then rub it off...I had to use it on plastic so I am not sure how it works with fabric!  Is there a hidden spot you could test it? wow...or just tell people you have a budding artist in the family... sorry...

I cannot believe how organized you are to be planning Christmas already!

What a good idea!  I love cloth napkins and would love to make sets for my friends...I also have snack bags on my list...that recycle swap you did had so many good ideas!!  I wrote a lot of them down...did you check out the scrubbie that laughing lark posted?

That would be a great thing to put in a basket!

Guys...hmmm...that is harder...

I love lime green now...but I might need to get something in hot pink!

Finally, the last dotee...  Grin

Here is the dotee that destined to fail (which they did not--more like destined for success!), made for me!

The "eye", a jumble of beads and trinkets and the intriguing arms and legs (can't wait to hear about the journey to making these!)...

They followed my ocean love theme and included lots of blue, some shell beads, and....a little skeleton!

I love the little guy!

But wait...I was trying to figure out how it was made and guess what I found!!!! omg--how adorable is this?

It is a tiny birdie peeking out from the center!!!  Good thing I am noseycurious...  Grin

Thanks guys--I love it!

16289  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Best art show I've been to yet on: May 12, 2010 02:55:54 PM
wonderful...some of the best "art" I have seen was done by art students at the high school...you can see raw talent and that creativity in so much of the work...techniques can be learned, but that something something cannot...

I love the 4th one down the most...just love it!
