They turned out great!  So much to look at and such stories behind each piece!  It is wonderful to have something meaningful to share in your room!

I love them individually and as a collection!  My favorite is #6!

The stamp is gorgeous!  Also love the tiny dragon and the frame!  Did you put the gold around it or was it like that?

I caved and turned on the air conditioner in my crafting room last night...the indoor thermometer hit 101 degrees and I was feeling sort of sick...one more week of this hell! Sad

It was fun seeing all the parts before you put her together!  I knew it would be wonderful!

Her facial expression is my favorite!
16276  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Inchie My Theme Swap on: July 06, 2010 06:05:15 AM
I have been a bit remiss in posting the lovely inchies I have received!

Here is the red set that aidenromantic sent to me...on some, she combined themes!  I love the glittery butterflies and the cute Mickey Mouse Wizard!

But, here are my two favorites!

I love spiders!

Thank you so much for inching my theme!  I have already used some in my red display, which I will take pics of and post later this week!

What a gift you are to that cause, AM!  That is excellent news!  I know you worked so hard...next year, the book will be extra special--hopefully, we can all add one more page to it!  I know I loved doing my page and I am inspired by all who made a page...what a great talented group!  Thanks again for keeping us informed!  Hopefully, you can take a breather and get back to you own life! Cheesy
16279  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knifty Knitters! on: July 05, 2010 05:34:35 PM
I love to knit but when I need to make up hats in a hurry, let's say for charity, the loom comes in pretty handy!  I can make a hat so quickly and it can be done easily while watching mindless tv!

I have also used it to get the base of a hat that I can then embellish to my heart's content!  I need to get some books for more ideas and also, I think there are quite a few patterns available online!

Your weaving is very inspirational!  I definitely need to get a loom...I do love my knifty knitter...but I am a bit bored with it...

LaughingLark--you pick some pretty colors...I love seeing how you thread it up and then how it looks when you are done!

I am so miserably hot that I just cannot touch anything that is made of yarn, fabric, etc.

My holiday crafting has been eating ice cream and drinking tons of ice tea...

I used four balls of cotton yarn to make market bags, which I desperately needed...I buy a lot of fresh produce at the Farmer's Market and these bags are great for hauling it to my car!  I used one this weekend to carry my swimsuit and towel...very versatile bags!
