wow steak fabric!!! That would be pretty neat to see!

I used plain tan canvas like fabric and stenciled it with "Real Men Love Sushi"--it took less that two yards and I used webbing for the ties...

I also like to use denim a lot for men's aprons...then you can do a lot like sew on a hamburger or some barbecue tools

If you google aprons for men, there are all sorts of ideas...I think men also like stripes on aprons like Mr. Food has! Cheesy

That would be great Mio!  I would be interested in knowing how to connect motifs that have different shapes with each other...will you be connecting with a unifying color like black?  Or just the motifs to each other?

So far it appears I have a large square, two medium circles and a small flower shape...I cannot even envision how they would fit...

I think a Christmas Day start is great!  I hope after Christmas dinner with the family to have some relaxation time!!

I am not sure I could do 3-4 a week but that seems like a good goal to shoot for...looks like I might need more yarn.. Cheesy

What gifted stitchers in this group!  I am sure we will be seeing a lot of variety!

I love the dandelions...I like simple, clean designs...very lovely and well done!

The little owl is so cute!  I like the mix of felt and stitching a lot!

The dragonfly is also a favorite bug of mine so I love it...the colors are so restful and the work is very nicely done!

Keep them coming!

I love making aprons for men...just about all the men in my circle of friends cook...I have made funny ones and serious ones...you just need to be sure it is long enough and that the ties are adjustable...also, I would not select fabric with flowers Wink

yofi--that scrappy knit blanket is wonderful!!  At first I thought you just used old knit sweaters...but to have knit each one...wow!!  What wonderful samples you picked as well...some of them are very complex!  I do hope you posted it in Knitting...it is quite an accomplishment!!

kwiltykate!!! Those dolls are adorable!  Congrats on completing the 50 or more list!!

10 more days--plenty of time to wrap up and pat ourselves on the back for a great year of crafting!  I truly hope to see you all over the 2011 board!

Back to plugging away at the last few projects....I think I can I think I can I think I can! Grin

I DID IT!!!

I DID IT!!!!!

lapoli--I think having all the supplies and materials in bags has helped me a lot!  I get a lot of those recycled bags from various places to use to throw in my yarn, the pattern, and make a label to what needle size I am using (if it is crochet...)...I can then just grab a bag to take to sneak in crafting just about anywhere!

I started doing that with my sewing projects as well, only I use those cheap shoe box things...pattern, fabric, trim, zipper, etc. I then stack them in the hallway (the only space I have left to store stuff Cheesy)...grab a box and sew...

I really do have to stop reading everyone's lists because I keep adding stuff to my notebook....and, I really do have to add the SKETCHBOOK PROJECT to my list...I am only halfway done and it is due out before January 11!!!

Can't wait until the holidays are over...to get organized and get going on 2011!

Those are very nice!!  I think the faces are the best part of a dotee...so much expression in such a tiny space!

I really like the last one on the top row--she looks like she forgot to include something in a swap package! Grin
