Love the skull pillow! You have been busy...I always love your bags...especially the ones that are from recycled stuff!

OK--two more done in crochet...the last one was done to use up the last of the yarn...but of course, I have half a ball of red...so I probably have to buy some more navy...Wink

I got the house knickertwist recommended...*hangs head in shame*...it looks more my speed! Cheesy

oh--your wee person looks right at home! Each time I see your floor, I love it...it is beautiful.

I also found the best glue dispenser ever!  The one I bought today has a tiny nozzle and is easily squeezed!  The person at Michael's told me that I can refill it using my big bargain bottle by just watering down the glue a bit...I also got a better xacto knife...hopefully, I won't cut off any more tabs... Cheesy

Wow--that is a good price for the clothesline!  I think I was paying almost $7 for 100 feet at Ace Hardware!  I know some people use welting cord found in the upholstery section of the fabric stores...I have not priced that yet...

I will have hubby check out Walmart for me!

I am going back to Michael's at lunch today to pick up another house...don't ask...let's just say that I would make a horrible carpenter... Cheesy

It is a very cute sweater and I love the colors!

I love the zebra print monster with the wild pink/punk hair! Cheesy

Also, very clever to add wings--so cute...

and, the little monster beads...they are fantastic!

Miss Barbara--the entire package is wonderful, but I am also loving that crochet monster wallet!

You guys are showing me that where monsters are concerned, you have a lot more imagination than I do! Cheesy
I am taking notes...and learning from all of you...and hope to make more nom nom monsters soon!

16260  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: goofy mistake commiseration...I'd love some! on: September 21, 2011 01:08:37 PM
I used to forget what hook I was using for various projects...we all know we have more WIPS than we want to admit Cheesy...to solve this problem, I made stitch markers using a letter bead of the sizes I use the most, K, I, G, etc.

Now when I start a project, I immediately put the marker on...it has saved my butt many times from making as many blunders as I used to! Cheesy

Live and learn...glad to see others besides me goof! Cheesy
