Happy birthday!!

Sounds like a win-win!  You and your daughter each can have a house!  And, shared time to decorate!

What a lovely combination of colors and patterns!  The cutie baby obviously did not care about any "mistakes"...Cheesy

I read about your upside down ceiling... Sad...

I bought some of that green painting tape (holy cow, it is expensive!)...and plan on numbering all of the main pieces and do a dry fit...I am benefiting from those who proceeded before me, so thanks lv10rg4n!

The cherry blossom bag is so cute!  I also laughed at the in-between sushi! Cheesy

The mini messenger is also clever--recycled stuff is just so popular now..I would make sure that you put on a tag stating that it is recycled...I attach a little card to all of my recycled goods...people like to read about what you made the item from!

I think they would be cute with those big button and cord closings...I see that a lot on stuff my young nieces carry...you would need to make the flap a bit smaller...or, maybe you could fashion something from the belt loops of the pants or make belt loops...a belt loop and a toggle type button?

You can also use belt loops as loops to attach the shoulder strap to...or for a key chain holder...or to hold a pen...you can use the zipper in the lining to make a pouch..cut around the zipper leaving some of the pant fabric...

Cheesy

Those are the cutest bunnies!  I love the little stickers...they would be cute on envelopes and notecards!

I love the fruity pouches!  The red one with the red zipper is so nice...and I see a bright blue lining peeking out!

Mare--where did you get that gingham ribbon?  I am laughing because I swear I have recycled that ribbon in so many swaps and it seems I see it everywhere now! Cheesy

I opened my dollhouse, flipped over to what I thought was the instruction page...are you kidding me? Cheesy  It is like a huge "I SPY" thing trying to find the matching numbers! How horrible! Hubby said I should do it the way I put together other things...by common sense...ha ha

I have picked out colors...a very dark green, grey, and brick red....I can tell this is going to be addicting...Cheesy

I have another 50% off coupon from Michael's...I might go get another house...

You can learn!  There are really only a few stitches...Mio taught me bunches with her tutorials...I know crochet free style just by looking at stuff...I am not great at following patterns but the star one is one you have to...or else it becomes a moon... Smiley

I am going to crackle some of the wood on my house...it is quite simple to do with plain old glue and paint...I have tons of old wallpaper that I plan on weathering and aging as well...all of the tips here are great!

There were four different styles of houses...the really ornate one seemed a bit daunting...I got the smaller victorian for $6.00!

I also saw that there are tons of things in the Christmas tabletop displays that could be used...they had brick and cobblestone sidewalks...little trees...candlesticks...and a lot is on sale at Michaels!

That's so cool!! It's good to see what it looks like done - Always pointed me in the direction of the pattern you used, after I was wanting another blankie, and I'm doing a pink and black version, but seem to have stalled.

But 6 days?!?!?!?! Think I may have just been spurred on!!

hey--you best not be blaming me! Cheesy

I am about six rounds in to it...I need a long long movie this weekend to get my rear in gear! Cheesy

good to see another one in the group lozzieozzie Smiley
