I know this is an older post, but with a New Year's resolution to clean out and organize my closet, this is perfect!!!

I hope you don't mind my borrowing some of your great ideas here! Cheesy

Ha, aprons are the best - and they're addicting.  I have over 20, more than half homemade by me.  Just get some nice hooks to display them on.

Oh, and my husband and I refer to the fabric store as "my crack dealer".  I know I shouldn't buy more fabric, but it's-just-so-pretty-and-it-was-totally-on-sale-so-I-HAD-to-buy-it.

wow! Maybe I should do a contest or some sort for aprons! They seem to be very popular lately!

hmmm--let me talk it over with the other two clothing mods...an apron challenge!

That is awesome!!! I can't even imagine knitting one sweater a year!

You will definitely be an inspiration and you will be making some headway into your stash as well!

With the popularity of Harry Potter, your shoes did get a lot of attention!

Obviously, you had a few fans who hit the rocks button! Cheesy

Congrats to you for a splendid 2010 project!

They would be cute on placemats as well or even a quilt! ha ha--I will leave it here!

On a t-shirt, you could add cute buttons as well!  Lots of possibilities!

Ric-rac across the windows...embroidery...ha ha...have fun--can't wait to see what ideas you come up with for your little caravans!

LaughingLark---thanks--I will test the yarn--I want to do some handweaving this year...I find it very tranquil and the results are always surprising...have you ever done burlap weaving?

Basically, you start with a piece of burlap...you remove either horizontal or vertical pieces and weave in other materials or weave the burlap itself into different designs..I will take a pic of a piece I did in a class in the 70's...I would definitely do it again with what I have learned here over the last year!

Thanks! He is still a great guy after all these years... Cheesy His best trait is that he understands that a clean house is not on my list of things to do...crafting is way more important to my mental health! Cheesy

I want to be paired up with a non-yarny!!

All non-yarnies deserve yarny-goodness to keep warm!! Cheesy

oh--so very nice!  Can't believe you can make stuff by just looking at a pic!!  I am not quite there yet...although, I must say that I think I figured out a pattern from a pic of kittymom13's awesome Christmas afghan WIP! Wink

I think this swap is great because you can do a variety of things!  While I love to knit and crochet, I do not do a lot of it for myself...and I definitely do not sew much for myself! Cheesy

I am just happy to get something new and fresh to keep me warm...mmmm today is Kona day...my hubby sets up the coffee maker for me each night with a surprise coffee...after 32 years, I guess he kind of knows what I will like the next day (it snowed overnight--BLECH!)...
