I love ripple afghans...it is lovely for a baby and will wear well after many many washings!

oh goodness--the pups and their crochet pal are so cute...you are going to town crocheting!

scrappysue--I am always amazed when I see projects in multiples!  What a display on your table...you have done so much for your charitable organizations this year!

15464  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Use Your Leftovers- Scrappy Projects (not afghans!) Crochet-along on: November 14, 2011 07:16:04 PM
Thanks! I believe I did 400 single crochet, then changed up yarn after every few rows...all of the scarves are single crochet and about 10-14 rows wide...I am just making the length sort of based on how much yarn I have...the first scarf is 100 inches...the second one is about 108 inches...

Thanks for showing us the flowers!! CLM--I have a bunch of those rubbery earring backers that I bet would work underneath the flowers!  Such a helpful group...I might need to sneak in a tiny bit of flower making between chores tonight!

And I really want to finish my exterior...I am using batting for my roof to simulate a thatched roof...trying not to buy anything...I just imagine my little person snatching pieces of it from my quilt room garbage, so that is what I am using...

OK--winter is fast approaching!  Get out those hooks and make everyone you know a gift set made from scrappy yarns!

I made two more sets and will post pics later tonight!

I decided for every set I make from leftovers, I am going to splurge and get myself some yummy yarn! Cheesy

Yep--bought 4 skeins this weekend...so much for destashing! Grin

I should not have gone to the yarn store...I am once again distracted Grin

I did buy a few baubles at the antique store so at least the goodies are piling up...oh, and I found a big old tin can that I am using as a project tin for my tin Grin
