I have never heard of sunpaint...but the colors are bright and the designs are really nice and versatile!  I really love that you used mardi gras beads and real leaves!

RLB has actually given me a great idea for a quilt....I recently made bias tape by sewing together scraps and then cutting and ironing to the widths I needed...I bet if I sewed together a bunch of scraps and then did a strip quilt it would be very random and colorful...hmmmm...genius, RLB! Cheesy

how big is that quilt, kittymom13?  It looks like 6 HUGE blocks!

You can post a list of the projects you want to meet this challenge, or you can count as you go...this is a craftalong but you are also welcome to post your finished items in the various other boards as well...everyone will help you out, so have fun and craft away!

Love the peace bracelet, lolaandbean!

What a lovely bracelet!  Is it strung on that memory wire stuff?  I was given some and have no idea what to use it for!

Love the snowball quilt appliques!  It is progressing nicely!

Also, your string quilt--how big are your blocks?  I did mine with 10x10 squares and I am starting another with 6x6 squares...I don't think I have long enough scraps for anything larger, but I love the big blocks look!

The yarn is now readily available at my local Joann's!  I bought two skeins for $5.00 on sale!  I have three patterns from the link you gave Limeriot, so I am set for a weekend of crocheting and knitting!

skyyangel--your room is full of inspiration and ideas!

leighi123--duh, it never occurred to me to take pics of my fabric and make a folder on my computer! Great idea!

I have all of my fabrics nicely organized in plastic bins, with special containers for silks and wools, but using my memory to find what I want or not buying the same pieces again has been a problem...I think I will make a sheet of pictures for each bin and tape it on the outside and put it in a notebook...

I have been better about buying fabric for specific purposes and thanks to suggestions from you guys, I have had some fresh ideas of what to do with some weird fabrics!

I also need ideas for large pieces of fabrics...right now they are folded up as best I can in a laundry basket on top of a spare bed...Cheesy

Glad to see that a lot of people wrestle with this problem...love all the sharing and ideas!

Keep posting pics--they help a lot! Cheesy

Kaffe Fassett fabric used wisely!  What lovely bags! It is hard to choose which one I like better...both have nice details!

The first one... Cheesy...I love the binding!

Great job!
