Beautiful tank!  I admire knitters who work in solids---it really does show off the stitches well!  The sweater is lovely as well...and socks, *sigh*---handknit socks are wonderful!

Cute kid--and omg--you look like a very young Jane Seymour--so beautiful showing off your goodies!

I love the duck and the idea of using old embroideries!!  I just placed a bunch of old stained runners from my grandmother out in the garbage/give-away pile---I will retirieve them when I get home and cut out the best bits...I had no idea how to use them...wow--great ideas!

I am using the crochet cotton only for the quilting--it takes a lot more thread than I thought, especially if you quilt tightly...I love the pearle cotton for the whip stitching and embroidery...the round rolls run about $2.50 each...

I have three more pillows to go before my panel is done...I have no idea how to embellish them, other than buttons so I am going to review the videos and the pics here for ideas...

I got the biggest ball of ecru I could find and it was about $10--I am going to try using fleece instead of stuffing as it is hard for me to keep it even--I also have lots of leftover batting from my quilts...has anyone used the batting?

BethieB--I interpreted that theme to mean it could be YOUR story...I would not limit yourself to children's stories...you might want to include a few favorite childhood stories as they relate to your own life...tell your story...it will be richer and more fulfilling for you...and more interesting to others...you could use your own family and tell how each member is like a storybook character...who was the king in your family?  the wicked witch?  the big bad wolf?

What happened in your life that was a fairytale?  What did you do that is like the story of Hansel and Gretel?  Do you see what I am driving at?  Relate the stories to your life...
