Thank you--I had to make the hole big enough because if I miss the bag, the clothepins would end up down the cliff! Cheesy

That is what is so nice about making your own stuff--you can fit it to your real life! Cheesy

Someone asked me where to get a small hanger like that...I used my old one, but I was told you can cut a regular wooden hanger or even use a baby clothes hanger!  Make one!!

omg--who can forget the afros!  My BIL wore a huge afro and his light blue leisure tuxedo to my wedding!  My hubby had on an awful brown corduroy tuxedo , and I wore a cream colored peasant dress with flowers in my hair...uhm, I still have the dress! Cheesy

I am wondering if it would be sacrilege to dye it?

ha ha Wulf--I loved the Jefferson Airplane because of Grace Slick! And speaking of fashion...she had such lovely long long vests that she wore with ruffly tops when she performed at my college...I remember talking my dormmate into taking me to the store to get fabric to make a vest with matching bellbottoms in horrible burgandy velveteen! Cheesy

oh how wonderful, scrappysue! India is such a colorful place and is probably way more modern and economically better off than it was in the 60's!  Remember our mothers telling us to clean our plates because some child in India did not have food?

My girlfriend made her daughter a crocheted white bikini using an old pattern I kept from my high school days...

I bought yarn to make a shawl cardigan but it was not the right stuff and I hated it (9 skeins)...so, instead of taking it back, I am exchanging it for different colors and then getting yarn...

scrappysue suggested tote bags as well for my upholstery fabric and I think I am going to make a closet bag like the ones you made rottenlittleboys!

oh Tero--can't wait to see your erotica take on your theme!  What naughty fun!

nicoleburdsall--your cover is very clever and I would love to try marbeling!

Dawn Trees--I also cannot find the clock, so I would guess that it is just fine! Cheesy

oh, I am hoping that a lot more people start posting their work...it is exciting to see works in progress as well as finished pages...I have done nothing more on mine... Sad

lovesclutter--have you cosidered joining the sketchbook project?  It is a lot of fun and I think that you can really bring the inspiration from here to that project as well...there are lot of people you know as well...including danniquee! Such cute art work, even though it is a scarey theme...

can't wait to see your pics no matter where you post them--go look for them now! Wink

I find that if I do a variety of colors and different papers, the background really is not that critical to what I want to put on it...I sometimes add different colors or papers depending on my mood...I don't actually have mine bound, just folded inside the book...and a rubber band around it...that way, I can still carry it around yet pull out the entire sheet to do what I want...

I have no sequence either--and on some of my pages, they are not even side by side in their colors...

I think however you like to work...somedays, I want to do the entire page from start to finish and just pull out a blank one (I had about 30 pages leftover since I substituted my own paper...)...

what theme did you pick Tero?  Sounds like a fun project to do with another person!

welcome back edelc--you are joining this, right!? Wink

love your lottery ticket idea smmarrt!  Sounds like a good idea to practice binding...

What a nice way to recycle old jeans and make do with what you have!

You did a lovely job and I think the colors go together well!  It must be very sturdy and hold a lot of things...you should be proud not to be wasteful, especially in this day and age!
