good for you--even a page a month will document you child's life...how wonderful that you are doing this now...

at least you tried your hand at knitting...it is not for everyone!  I prefer knitting but you are right, once I started crochet, it goes so fast and I can do it while walking on a treadmill! ha ha  But, on the downside, it does take up nearly double the yarn!

those pics are precious so it is great that you are getting them together now!

I love the star layout...

What a good idea to make the backs more interesting! Dresses up any plain fabric... (taking notes...)...

and your pincushion is very meaningful to you--nice work (what a gorgeous button--looks like a big fat pink pearl--how luxurious!)

Do you walk to classes? Maybe do a treadmill in the winter?  I like the treadmill because I can listen to music and crochet at the same time while I walk without worrying about cars and such!

yes--I have fabrics now that I am glad I saved...but I also have fabrics that I purchased when I worked in the corporate world (wools and silks) that will never become clothing as I no longer wear that type of stuff...but maybe I can rethink what they can be made into...I should post some in the clothing thread to get ideas of what to do with it!! yes!

our poor significant others!  I just reminded my hubby to save the colored plastic bags in a separate box for me and also all of his bottle caps...he just sighs and says "Yes, dear!"...gotta love him!

do you zumba in your yoga pants?  I do...but I am thinking I am going to need something more fun!!  Have you seen those cute fringey belts they wear in class?  My instructor makes hers and I want some bad!

They are basically home decor fringe (no bells allowed due to noise might be irritating to some!)... some of hers have those ball fringes...they look great while shaking the booty!!

I am sure it is being inspected by customs...I often find custom slips in my packages...who knows if stuff goes missing...so far, I have only lost one package in years of swapping! and it was in the USA!

omg--your avatar pic is so cute!  That is how big my little boy was when I found him...he is now 18 pounds at 10 months old! Cheesy

The redo is wonderful and the seahorse necklace is such alovely color!

I also like the button tree--something different to do with those leftover "one" buttons!

envirocraft is right--the biggest thing is not to snack too much!  Keep your hands busy by doing something else:  I have a list above my TV that says: THINGS TO DO INSTEAD OF EAT...then I put down stuff like crochet, make ATC, read, take a bath, etc.

Students can can 15-30 pounds each year at school if they do not watch it!!

working on my wips--I am going to tackle those before MARCH 1 (which also happens to be my birthday! Cheesy)
