15111  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Alphabet Inchies Swap on: May 01, 2010 04:18:50 PM
the vote is genius as is the Pi!

I also received my last set from Hebe so I will be posting my two sets from across the pond!  Both partners did some pretty cool inchies as nostephot has shown!  I really like your complete set--but zombiebunny by hebe73 and G for glitter by leafy_lane are my favorites!

Here are the ones from leafy_lane. J is my favorite. I love jesters!

I have to arrange my whole set so I will post hebe's and the set later!

I am kinda sad that this swap is nearing the end...  Sad

Grin -- a lot of my coworkers liked that fabric as well!  The fabric was intended for curtains so when the curtains are scrunched up, they actually look pretty nice...I guess what I was trying to say was that if I can't find a purpose for it for clothing or a purse I am cutting it up!! Cheesy

wow cat2007--the milk jug with the handle would be very handy for a bunch of stuff!!  I just realized how great it would be to use in the garage and for the garden!  To have everything in one spot would be such a time saver and would also keep me from buying duplicates!

wire wrapping--that is one skill I have not yet mastered!  Can't wait to see what you have been making!

Sweets--should the moderators go to their boards and change pics to links as well temporarily?

That is great craftylittlemonkey!  I did the same thing...I am making an apron and thought I would have to go buy fabric, but I dug around and found two pieces that I think my partner will love!

Wow--a heart yo-yo!  How cute is that?  I am just getting into them so I have no idea what things can be made except quilts and I also saw a purse that I am making and some jewelry...I am sure there are 100's of things!

I got some huge ziplock bags and one is marked "Inch Quilt" and the other is "Fabric Strips"..Everytime I am finished with a fabric, I square it up again.  I put the bigger scraps in my "Fat Quarter" bxes, then the strips, then the inch quilt!  When my strips bag looks full, I make a bowl! Cheesy

However, my last bowl, I just cut up ugly curtain fabric.

This bowl will be filled with cookies for the Firemen..used scraps from a quilt I made for their auction:

If I did not have crafting to distract me, I would not have been able to get through a lot...take a break and come back whenever...like everyone reminds us...this is not a contest or requirement!  It is suppose to be fun and to help you!  Sorry to hear your bad news ...  Cry
