Wow! The more I see of your work, the more in awe I am. Can we start a KLK Fan Club?

I would join! What a talent!

I love the ruffly edges..versatile color as well--bet you can't wait to wear it with all the spring and summer dresses!!

I have not yet put your page into my temporary ATC binder...It is posted on the wall right in front of me as I work hard to get better at making inchies, rinches and moos! Quite inspirational...I did take pics but they cannot show off the texture and the diversity of the items...
15104  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ruffled Apron for a Red-haired cook on: February 17, 2010 02:35:45 PM
oh wow--I just noticed the darts! I have some larger people that want aprons...being smaller myself, I could not figure out how to best fit them, as you said, so that the bigger top does not flare out too much on the bottom and yet cover well at the top!!  Darts! I feel like I just had a "duh" moment!

lovely -- I covet the sewing machine one!!!

I do love your dangly keychains but my twelve keys are already way too much dangle for my poor purse!

15107  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: January 2010 Birthday Swap Gallery/Discussion on: February 17, 2010 11:27:48 AM
What a cool project!  I am doing the 50 projects--I had a math clock on my list but then decided it was not very practical for my craft room--I really like the one you linked to!

I am about sick of yarn and am moving into my sewing phase...blech...no more yarn for me--at least for a few days!  I love the pink and white curly one...I would make great doll hair...
15108  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: How Bazaar! Corks 'n' Crochet on: February 17, 2010 11:18:59 AM
teachingjonah--yours turned out great, too!!

What a fun carryalong project...I love crocheting while waiting in lines or on the trains...these will be fun for strangers to wonder what the heck I am doing!  Especially the little ninjas--I love those!

very fun and classy looking wallet (and how wonderful that the striped on the closing tab match Cheesy)....but of course, slingmomma, you do good work!

wow--what are you making with all that yarn and the picture frames? love the bits and bobs--so nice to have a variety of materials to work with when the crafting mood hits you!

I hope my packages get delivered this week!!!
15110  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Froggy Quilt for Quilts for Kids on: February 17, 2010 11:10:04 AM
Those are wonderful quilts funthreads! I got a very girly one and have cut out my stash fabrics so I can spend all weekend making two!  I hope everyone who gets on will post what they made, even if it is the same pattern!

I also love that they do all the hardwork for you--so this is a good project for new quilters and for budget minded craftsters...buying the batting, binding and paying for shipping is really a small donation for a good cause!!
