The mantels are actually leftover mouldings from our house...

When I do the final room, I will splash paint on the floor to make it look more like my real crafting area! Cheesy And add paint to the paper towels on the floor and lots of dried up paint brushes!  True to life... Cheesy

Silvermoon--I absolutely LOVE the sleeved scarf!!  I am running out of ideas to make for myself that I will wear, besides hats and scarves...

I have mostly been crocheting and working on my wee house, but most of the items are for swaps, so I can't post yet!

Meleriffic...too bad about the pictures!  I love seeing the items you make!

Such interesting links and blogs!

I love how the rooms are beginning to come together with furniture and accessories!

Phizzy--love your wall treatments!

Morgan--your stove/fireplace turned out wonderful!  I also love your study...

I really was trying to figure out how to do a sink in my kitchen...thanks for the faucet link, CLM!

Here are some in progress shots of my leaf painter's room:

And, I made little valances for my windows by making sort of a tube of fabric, gathering it and gluing it in place. I also added firewood to my living room...and yeah, I put things in the rooms, take them out to look at them... Cheesy

The kitchen table was made with a scrap piece of wood and mini thread spools--I left the thread on since I liked the colors. The rug was crocheted using sock yarn:

I also appreciate the background...I am not big on fleece clothing, but I love making stuffies and lap blankets and really want to make dust mitts! Nice to know about the difference in types!  Thanks RLB!

The cake looks yummy and pretty--I can't even frost a cake let alone make swirlies!!

Love the washcloths--the Finnish one is very personal for your swap partner!

I destashed most of my cotton yarns making market bags! I use these for holding rags, afghan projects, and shopping at the market.

This one was suppose to hold my cotton yarn, but it is too small...it only holds the leftovers that I keep to make random washcloths...as you can see--only two skeins left to use up! Cheesy

I am actually getting things for my next house--which I hope is a scary one...but I also want to do some glitterhouses for Christmas, so I saw some things I could use as well...yeah--you warned me but you know I am a bad child that has to do what I am told not to do! Cheesy

Necessity is truly the mother of invention...this is such a creative use of things you already had...your imagination and crafting skills were put to good use...I can't wait to see the whole thing...I absolutely love the details on your blog about how you did the shoes/hooves!

And, the horn--I am glad you explained that and showed a picture!  From minnow to horn--genius!!
