I like how you made both sides similar but different! The gambling with love theme is very cute!

I agree--more people see your creations the earlier you post! By the time the deadline approaches, I have pretty much made up my mind who I am voting for... Cheesy

v3nu5--if you are not going to be doing heavy quilting, I would try a nice soft flannel or maybe even a fleece--the microfiber will probably get all staticky and not be that comfortable..if you are just something that does not really involve a lot of quilting, you could do a fauz fur and then just tie the layers together every so often...remember that the purpose of the quilting is to hold all layers together... (and it looks nice, too! Grin)

omg--I think I forgot to post a few ATC's that I received late!  They are in my photo gallery but I don't think I put them here!  I am so lame!

When I get home tonight, I will look at the entire gallery to be sure and then post them--you guys need to whack me in the head if I don't post your lovelies! (hey, I will be the first to admit my memory is not what it used to be! Cheesy)

I loved your idea!!! Where did you get those clear hooks?  I am going to have to "borrow" your idea as I am tired of unrolling and rolling my roll.... Cheesy
14788  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Needles in my eye! Hook holder on: February 05, 2010 08:08:14 AM
See--something like this is way more practical for me than a roll--I am always reaching for a hook for something and...it is not there...or else it is in my pencil cup!

I love your idea and the fact that you made it fun and crochet!!! I have never seen clear crochet needles and they look ergonomical as well...I will have to look those up as I am having some problems with little hooks!

Nice project!  Thanks for sharing!

Mortimer made my day!  I have never seen a sock monkey with such attitude! How fun is he!!!  You must have put some of your personality in him, Miss Troublet!! Wink

love the brown/cream washcloths and scrubbies by sunspotted--I also have no idea how people can use them since they are so pretty!  and alpaca yarn is fabulous! can't wait to see what you make!

phnxreign99-I love the embroidery on the needlebook!  The penguins are so cute but I love the little cupcake the best! Cheesy

timpani~jax--your black embroidery bird is gorgeous!  That is one skill I have not yet developed, so I truly admire emboridery and needlework of all kinds!

6iggle--what a great idea to use an lovely skirt for something else lovely!  The needleroll is practical and beauiful!

hee hee--I think it is funny that devilckat got a devil t-shirt! how cute!

Great packages everyone!  I will be finishing up my packages this weekend and look forward to the February Birthday swap as well!
