What a wonderful story RLB!  So many interesting people in the world that we can only "meet" through other people...love it!

I always worry about what I am going to do with all of my sewing and crafting stuff...I know that as long as there are people like those on craftster, someone will treasure anything that ends up at a thrift store...I know I do!!  I love scoring crochet afghans, potholders, etc. I wonder who made it, what was she like, etc.

Besides, I have specific instructions in my will to give my stuff to the my mod sisters! Cheesy  shhh don't tell them because they might off me before my time to get to my yarn and fabric! Wink

The dino fabric is great for kids...I always loved I SPY things.

Reaching 50 is no big deal...the goal is to stay focused and be creative and make things! Cheesy

Any handmade project beats doing nothing...I can't believe how many people I meet that seriously have no hobbies at all except tv! Sad

I hope you did have a wonderful birthday!

I think I read that states that get too many scarves send them to states that did not get enough...it is a national event...

Hope you find your scarf!  That is why I mailed early--ha ha -- I tend to lose things in the clutter of my life!

that quilt was in the thrift store? something about that saddens me (maybe I fear all my quilts will end up there...), but, it is also great that someone like you knew it was a treasure and snatched it up! Smiley

the airplane is cute!  I bet he will love it and no one else will have it!

How about those glass/plastic clear ornaments swirled with paint to look like marble?  They are fun and easy...pour in paint, turn upside down into a paper cup, let drip dry, done! Cheesy

I just had a feeling the gallery was going to explode!!  gahhh--I want to see everything!

Love the red panda...I think they are my new favorite animal!

And the rainbow unicorn!

A banana for Ms. Banana!  how perfect !

ha--I do hope the birds are creepy cute...the eyes sort of freaked me out, but it was fun making them!  And, I am glad I followed the rule: save everything! Cheesy  I like to try to use recycled items in my projects.

Making felt balls is pretty relaxing and can be used for so many things...I hope to make some more soon using my own dyed wool roving! Cheesy

Surreal, you know what I was going through so this project really did take my mind off of things...there is joy even in our darkest days!  I hope my little ones brought some to you as well! I had a blast!

And, wow--more, please!  I love seeing everyone's work and style!

I think I get more excited for my partner to receive than receiving myself! (well, almost! Cheesy)...

I am sure that a long week of work makes many people want to go out and party for the weekend! Cheesy

Everyone has such lovely scraps!  When I see them, I imagine the other projects you must have made!

The wallet and journal are so lovely...I love the curvy part, too!

pink velcro?  you must be in heaven!  wow...such a nice mix of goodies (and no matter how much we swear we are destashing, getting supplies is a thrill each time!)

good job, quaggy!
