I made a windsock and put it up in my yard.  The wind blew it to shreds.  Guess I won't try that again.

lol--this made my day!  Guess I won't be making a windsock...scratch it off my list...

envirocraft--thanks for your post on your cards!  My sister has requested a set of thank you cards forever...it is on my list and I needed some inspiration!  hee hee I might just have to snag some of your layouts--they are pretty nice and in her taste!!

great idea to make "thank you cards" ahead of time!

I am always in a rush when I have to make them as I go!

Lovely use of paper and each so personal!

loves2teach--those colors are really beautiful!  I love how you have such pretty designs that are so different but with the same colors--that is going to be one fabulouse blanket!

oh yes--when I saw those posted I added them to my master list--what a nice project!  Looks like it would be addicting...

I am in the frugalong thread and looking forward to some garden projects--I think I am going to swap out some stuff in my list because I totally forgot about outside projects!  I want to make a bowling ball into a gazing ball and also decorate some pots and maybe make a windsock...

Wulf--I am lucky to live in AMish country--almost all handmade quilts are still done by hand at the quilting bees and churches and such...I have a quilting stand made for home use and I continue to hand quilt if the quilt is for a special friend...I just love the look!

I think diaper cream might be handy for adults in the hot humid summer as well Cheesy

you guys are truly shaming me with your clean ups--I came home and read past issues of STUDIOs to ge get ideas but that is as far as I got..then I made some stuff...

I am seriously thinking of moving my entire crafting stuff to a different bedroom--a larger one...maybe over Memorial weekend...

I am going to look forward to gardening as it will take me away from this mess...

I even tried to offer money to one of my co-workers, who is a clean up pro...and she said  NO WAY!!  So sad...

I like using soft cotton batiste...my hubby loves handkerchiefs...I collect vintage ones and actual do use them as well for myself...but I mostly use mine to wipe my glasses or any make-up mistakes, etc.

I think tonight, instead of getting on the internet, I am going to play loud music and clean up my room---I have two swaps to do and my crafting mojo is just not into it because I need a clean space to start...hubby said if I posted a pic it would embarrass me to clean it up, so maybe I will...I am sure no one will judge me for my mess...

Maremare--keep those organizational tips coming! Funny how my main craft is sewing and it is a mess, yet my yarns and my jewelry stuff, that I don't do tons with, are beautifully organized!

I am also looking forward to gardening--and, really can't wait to see everyone's garden space--I am a mess there, too!!

This is my first dotee swap so I have no real clue--I just basically looked at what was done in the past and the size...more experienced dotee makers are going to have to clarify this...as a receiver, I really have no expectations at all!!

Talk about saving pennies--my girlfriend and I took her margarine tub full of coins to the bank today and threw them into the coin counter (I have an account there so it was free!)...she guessed she had $20, I guess $42...she got $92 and change!!!!!! so, they do add up!!

oh--and one of her tricks is that each night she and her SI empty their pockets into this tub...sometimes she thinks it might be a dollar or two, but this is how much they collected in about three months ! wow!
