Great job on the bed frame, lilmissdangerous!  Looks wonderful with your quilt!

kiwiltykate--you do make the nicest baby things!  I love the bear--did you use a pattern or is there a tutorial for it somewhere?  My little great nephew has worn his storebought one to shreds and I can no longer repair it for him...maybe a substitute will be alright if I can match it as close as I can!!

casey1201--your earrings are lovely--lots to wear for all of the spring fashions!

I have one of those needle gauges, but it does not include large needles...I have jumbo knitting needles and also a hand carved crochet hook that is huge!  A friend of mine has tried many many times to win a crochet hook from some guy on ebay, so I know the beautiful carved ones are coveted!

Mine is plain and functional, made by my great grandfather for my great grandmother in the 1920's!!  It was used to make rugs and potholders from rags by my greatgrandmother.

What a lucky kid!  John Deere is such the rage now and I bet he will be the envy of his friends!

Anymore JD ideas for the room?

What a challenge to work with something that had been faded and stained!

Your dress turned out lovely--I especially love the two colors!

It is very flattering and fits great!

It is a bit weird to see the snow in the background of such a summery dress Smiley

Thanks for posting your  recon and telling it's story!

What a lovely color and style!! I do think loose dresses are the best to wear in the heat!

Your daughter is definitely enjoying her new dress!  What a cutie--she already has a nice style--look at her with her matching bangles!

I bought batting with my Joann coupon yesterday and will be using some fishy fabric that Sevsonlygirl send me in a swap!

In order not to get bored, I am trying out some of the other patterns..

I leave you with this old Chinese saying:

Better to have done something imperfectly than to try to be perfect and get nothing done!

Have fun and every quilt will be loved and remembered!

It is a bit scarey that we were able to "gush" over some pretty hideous stuff! lol

I will be the first to admit, though, that sometimes I see projects like this on other days and I just have to wonder if the person is spoofing us or ... well, I would not want to hurt anyone's feelings, so I usually say nothing...

I think a lot of members chose to say nothing on April 1st...so, weren't they sweeties?!

Now to explain to all my friends and clients that "A Study in Pink" will NOT be going into my portfolio!! ha ha
