I am just so happy that the list for people I would LOVE to craft for is so many times longer than the other one...and growing longer everyday when I read this thread--you guys are awesome!!

"usually like "i'll send you some stickers.  i'd like to recieve some gold earrings, a quilt for my king size bed, a handmade suit or a pure silk scarf".  "--I laughted out loud on this one!!

I understand lovely_gangster--but there are people like me that love to do the unconditionals because we have seen some of those people over and over give such lovely things to others; to me, I want to make sure crafty kharma is a reality so I love making things on those swaps. Birthdays are so special to me so I think a person shouldn't have to craft to get a gift in those swaps, but if they do, cool beans!!

I generally choose international ones because I know many of the young ladies are not like me (working fulltime/no kids/extra cash) and able to send overseas...I truly believe that keeping this an international site expands all of our experiences and by understanding what we have in common, each and every one of us will come to know that the world can be better, even if it is just one craftster at a time! ha ha

Yeah--it is pretty bad when your coffee maker starts going and you are thinking of taking out a loan to get a new one, ha ha--I have three extra pots in the garage just in case one of them breaks, heaven forbid!!--

vagina star--you can live in the butterscotch bedroom!! ha ha

Hey, thought of you yesterday catpants--the receptionist at the doctor's office had a ninja hamster on her desk--ha ha!

What a gorgeous pillow--I have been meaning to buy that book, so now I am just going to do it!!  I love the embroidery--do you have pics of the back of the pillow to show how it is tied in? Everything is so coordinated and thought out--lucky partner!!

Love the retro purse, knit_core--funky lining make the purse!! And, still loving the altoid tins!! Everyone does something different with them--must try them someday...and,  Cry, I must be the only craftster who has never eaten a timtam....lucky to get candy in a swap because, of course, you have an excuse to eat it!! YAY!

What a great way to start your day with birthday goodies!!  Isn't it nice to get something that you can make something with?  The embroidery kit is such a nice gift that keeps on giving....hope to see the goodies you make in future swaps!

And, I love pantas!!  The color is so nice on you! (you look pleased as punch with your cute grin!!) ha ha --I wear mine in the summer, also, especially since hubby likes to overuse the air conditioner at night!!  Nothing like a panta--very nice job--

Happy Birthday!
