14391  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Your Best Pumpkin Recipes!! on: December 21, 2010 05:15:42 PM
I made PepsiTwist's Pumpkin Roll!!!  It took some time but it was worth it!  I made four and gave three as gifts...everyone raved over the yumminess!

Here is what is left of the one I put in my fridge...I took the one that broke up a bit. It isn't pretty but it eats "good"! Wink

Thanks for all of the great recipes...I am working my way through all of them!

I did not post some of the items I made:

Glitter paper drum bookmarkers for my Hubby's girl students

Pumpkin rolls I made for gifts (sorry, but the pic is what was left of the one I had in the fridge...yeah, a little mouse was nibbling on it Wink )

I love taro root!

Last year I only posted foods that were projects like making pumpkin rolls for gifts...I normally do not cook much but I like weird foods! Cheesy

I am definitely going to save the wool for felting...those are great suggestions!

oh yummy!  Thanks...I love recipes with unusual ingredients...when you make them, be sure to post in cooking, too!

I just found the Christmas crack recipe made with saltine crackers and the "crab" balls made with sauerkraut!!!

I need to add some cooking to my list...

I just learned about filet crochet and I must say that you did a wonderful job...it does look like it takes a lot of patience and that in the end, you hope it looks like a picture!

I love that you used red thread as well--it is striking for the holidays!

thanks katara--I have already started three projects in the Teesha Moore style...and I will have plenty of scraps for my scrappy quilt as well...

ghilie--if you look in the craftalong board, you will see that we have a Teesha Moore style craftalong..it is a fun way to use up scraps and scraps of fabric, yarn, buttons, thread, etc.
