I can't wait to see because I have no idea what you are talking about---you crochet the beads? sorry...guess I will have to wait to see these flowers!  They sound lovely, anyway! Cheesy

oh--I used up some of my stash to make a quilt!  Unfortunately, I still have about 5 more yards of the stripey fabric so it looks like I need to make a few more quilts! Cheesy

loved your froggy quilt!

I have used the iron on---I think it works well with smaller quilts but for larger ones, the ironing is a pain to me!

finally, finished my stash quilt...couldn't get a great pic since I had to work late but here it is--it is in the washer as I am posting so I can get it ready for mailing:

Close-up--all fabrics were from my stash and might not have been my first picks but I think they work ok:

Back--lots of quilting--again, from my stash (and I still have 5 yards left?!?) Cheesy:

that is great KLKing!!!  You would be perfect for working in the bridal field...you could also help a bride plan and take care of some of the details during their stressful time!  Good Luck!!! my positive thoughts are coming out to you!

also, now that your boot is off...you can go find cute shoes for your creations!!!

I am really liking the button stuff!  I got a bunch of flowers in a swap that were made of just buttons!  They look like modern art...I think you are right--a button craft would be a fun thing to add/change on my list, too!

14170  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: I can doodle for hours :) on: March 10, 2010 12:14:38 PM
There was a pretty neat "tutorial" to free your brain in the last issue of Cloth Paper Scissors that got me addicted...I remember doing these as a kid and loving it...you might have been the one who brought back the memory of this because I remember when the magazine came, I was so excited that I knew what they were!

I am going to go through and find your zentangle now... Cheesy

added: ah yes--I remember them! awesome

BTW--what happened to that gorgeous aqua and red quilt?  I thought the color choices were incredible!  I want to make that quilt!!!
