ysmeine--your garden looks wonderful and just a good size!!  I love the corners--very decorative and functional...what plants besides peas do you have?  I see tomatoes?

I have to try this foil thing!  It looks very nice, especially against the black!

oh craftylittlemonkey--I remember the post theat KLKing did with her beading kit!  Yes, it is easier she said if the beading area is covered with fabric to keep things from rolling around so much and to stick your pins in!  Those are some great suggestions!

Great!!!  We can't wait to see...that is such a fresh color combo...I am not a fan of yellow, but with grey, it also could become a favorite of mine!

Great--I will try it when I get home! I used some single socks and sewed socks for this outfit...just made tubes and tied ribbons around the top...

She sits on an antique chair in my foyer so my thought was to have an outfit for every season and a special one for Christmas when my house is full of company! I seriously thought about finding another similar sized doll and cutting off the hair...but then I would feel bad for the other doll...silly, I know... Cheesy

I used zinc oxide to take the black spots off because I read it on a website for doll repairs!  It worked!  and, it took of sharpie ink on the vinyl as well!  Not sure about white mildew spots--I bet a brown sharpie would do it!

turned out cute and modern-looking...what did you hate about the pattern?

It looks fairly simple: no buttonholes, no darts, no collar, loose fit--I love patterns like that! Cheesy

All your embellishments really make it special--love the white ribbon especially!  Great job!

oh boy--a mystery with pics to come! Cheesy

You must be busy as we have not seen you for a bit!  Can't wait to see!

Your kiddo is a natural for spotting beauty and the unusual, laughing lark!

Many positive thoughts go out to you, hoping that you will be able to get your lump resolved!  I have no idea why insurance companies can't see that they will actually save money on presciptions for pain and future damage by letting doctors decide to remove something!  Good luck with that!

craftylittlemokey--the frame idea sounds great...I am always looking for interesting ways to make frames look more unique...foil, huh? Do you recall where you saw this?

Laughing lark--a lap working tray sounds great..I was thinking you could use a pillow but it seems like maybe those bean bag beads would mold better to your lap...I bet the tray would stay on with construction adhesive!

I saw all of your projects in other threads!!  I love the shrug and the ripple bag is my favorite!

Remember that whether you have two completed projects or 20, you will have a chance for the drawing...I promise to put everyone's names on the exact same size piece of paper and have someone else draw it out of a bowl! Cheesy

Mine doll is all vinyl..but she lived in my parents basement for many years and parts of the vinyl turned black with icky mold! Her eyes are clouded and don't open and shut properly...I thought about trying to fix her hair, but making hats seemed easier! Cheesy

I really admired the outfits you made your doll collection, momcueller--besides this doll, I have quite a few that have no clothing at all...I will add it to my destash list to make clothes for them!

ha ha The books are low on a shelf...I keep the ones I use most right on my workspace. To be honest, they are everywhere... Sad

M'Liss Rae Hawley is a favorite quilter of mine...I have" Fat Quarter Quilts" and "More Fat Quarter Quilts"...the other book is called "When Quilt Designers Think Small"--all the projects use fat quarters or less...also, "Sew Special Fat Quarter Gifts"!  I have bookmarks in things I have always wanted to make...

My doll measures 14"...I took  a few pics...the doll is my first given to me by my nanny when I was in Germany...so she is about 52 years old! Cheesy

I made the dress, bloomers and hat in 1997...so she needs a new dress!

Here is her poor head:

A lovely crochet dress or maybe a velvet dress--that would use up a bit of stash!

Phew--I have the Fiskars inverted punch as well...it never occurred to me to actually measure the punch!!  No one in my first two swaps said anything so I guess I am good!

I am way behind on my inchies as well, but I know I have time...

Yes, real life and health definitely take priority...omg...hope you get better soon!
