I love hand printed fabric...but hand printed with words and letters?  wow!  Beautiful job...I am sure the fabrics will make a unique project!  I say just use the pouch for more chocolates...Grin.

It does look too pretty to eat!  Looks like you have found a new skill that will come in handy--and most appreciated by family and friends! Grin

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Thing-A-Day February 2016 Craftalong on: Today at 06:05:04 AM
Wulf--if you did not tell us that was not the original top, we never would have known!!!  It matches beautifully!  Such nice work!

Acadian--those fabrics are just so lovely!  Glad that you are using this craftalong to get going on a long overdue project.

Wile E Songdog...sounds like you have been experimenting and learning a lot...I took out my origami papers to make some things, too...I will get some pictures of what I made after my swap partner receives!

I am also working on several projects at the same time: afghans (3), quilt blocks (64 more blocks to go!), and some items for a charity event in April.  This has been very motivating!
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: 50 Projects 2016---Busy Hands are Happy Hands! on: Today at 05:56:48 AM
The box is lovely!  Is it for a gift?  Perfect to hide special treasures or favorite jewelry!  I love the little owl and the things you added!

Also, that blanket pattern is gorgeous!  Do you mind sharing the pattern? I am working on a boring chevron and will soon need a new, pretty pattern for a baby girl!  Do you know about how big the blanket is?  I agree that the pound of Lion's Brand seems softer than a lot of the baby yarns!  Plus, you can often get it on sale and it comes in lots of colors and washes well.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Junker Jane-style Dolls 3 - GALLERY on: February 09, 2016 08:01:50 PM
So creative!  I love it that old things are being used and the faces are all so fabulous...so many details...love her ears!
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: 2016 Annual DeStash-Along on: February 09, 2016 04:45:37 PM
oh I made this totally from stash!  Old wool jacket cut up for the body, spare or found buttons, misc. cording, scraps of fabric, embroidery floss, and pellets...I did not have to purchase a single thing!  It has red!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Chae's Panda Hoody on: February 09, 2016 03:52:34 PM
Pandas have been in the news a lot lately...they are just so adorable and maybe it will also bring some attention to saving their natural environment so we can have them around a long time...

I think making the little tail black was a good idea...or else it might have looked like just and extra piece of fabric sticking out!  You have to take some creative license!  Your daughter looks so happy!!!
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: Wee House Craftalong-Ongoing 2011-Forever! on: February 09, 2016 11:42:07 AM
I love both of those tiny houses...the cardboard one is really neat because you can use what normally would be thrown out...now I know why I kept all of those shipping boxes piled high in my garage! Grin

Still slowly working on my little house...decided to change colors so it is kind of a re-do...anyone else working on tiny houses?
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sock doll pattern, FREE! on: February 09, 2016 11:37:23 AM
Wow--she is generous to share your cute patterns!  My great nephew is 4 and just loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!  I also loved her little sock owl pattern...thanks for the link!
