Those ankle bracelets are fabulous!  I use clear spray paint for some of the paper beads I make only because it is faster than doing them one at a time with other things...I love the Bohemian style!

At 65 I told you I was the Ancient One. According to Asian culture, doesn't that mean that I'm suppose to be honored and revered?Huh The fact that I don't have a drop of Asian ancestry is immaterial.

You are revered for your generosity, kindness and talent!!! Grin

Lol--I thought edel must have been using some ancient Irish calendar or something...lol....

I think collectively, we all are the same age... Grin. I don't know about anyone else in the over 50 age, but doesn't craftster make you feel especially young?

cmarion...we are the same age!  I am also sure there was a typo on my birth certificate...after all, it was done with a manual typewriter and mine was done in Japan...mistakes probably happened for sure, right? lol

Love seeing the process of the card making!

So many cute ideas...I really love the ones where it is not a picture but a stamp, silhouette, or rendering of who you are...emilywilde...very nice!

I also loved the circles around your picture and your tags, PromisedHeartbrk!

The cards are as unique as we all are!

I just read that once the product gets heated, it turns gummy...it might help to put it in the fridge to cool it off...also, there is a product called "thread Heaven" that people rave about to make your thread glide through the stuff...not sure how to do it with machine thread...guess you have to unwind and wind the thread?

I also found a product called Ultra solvy that I am going to try...it seems very very thin, but it might work better for machines...

I wonder if it is the humidity?  I sew in a very cold room...

Your daughter is so talented!  The apple does not fall far from the tree!  I love the little panda!

I drooled a bit seeing your scrappy fabric project...I absolutely love saving all the bits of string, yarn and fabrics to make these...I have not had any problems with my needles or thread...check your needle throat plate...if there are any burrs around the hole, you can take a metal nail file and smooth them down...they will catch the thread and force a break each time...I use a plate that has an oval shape instead of a normal round hole...you aren't using ball point needles made for knits are you? I've done that a few times...I sure don't want you to NOT make these!!! They are fantastic! Kiss
