1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Everyday is Halloween Gallery SO May 20th on: Today at 06:01:18 PM
Love the puppy painting!

Can you tell us more about the little coffin as well?  Any chance of a close-up shot?

This has been a weekend of wonderful gallery goodies...including my own!

First picture, his highness with a tiny hint of what Glamis sent him me.

This painting made me laugh...it is so detailed and perfect!  Tough to get a non-glare photo, it seems...finally had to wait until day!

Some detail shots:

I love the little mice honoring the greatness of His Highness, Black Cat!

Thank you so much, Glamis!

Oh, I almost forgot the other awesomeness! Modeled by Rocket, my new baby black!ha ha  The cutest felt patch for my collection!

2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Prayer Flag Swap Round 6 Gallery on: May 28, 2016 06:53:14 PM
Both of the flags are beautifully done!

I almost can hear the tickling of those tiny charms...and I love the technique you used...so many different things to look at!

Blue and yellow are such a lovely combo...love the happy design and the excellent wor on that flag.

My thoughts are for Sonja during her difficult time.
3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Bunny Circus on: May 28, 2016 12:19:33 PM
These are so cute!  I can see these as prints for a nursery or small child's room...very cute!  I love the strongman, too!

Just so happens the circus is in town this weekend in Hershey!

You could do bunnies jumping through hoops like they do in the lions act; bunnies riding small horses; clown bunnies (but I really hate clowns...); fortune telling bunnies; motorcycle bunnies (the kind that go in the big round thing that looks like a hamster wheel!)...tightrope walking, tattoo bunnies, lol...I have been to too many circuses...
4  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Fabric Art Journals Page Swap #5 on: May 28, 2016 12:13:35 PM

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Craftalongs / Re: 50 Projects 2016---Busy Hands are Happy Hands! on: May 28, 2016 12:08:04 PM
I love it when fugly looking yarn turns out lovely in the end!  And especially if it  stripes...I love stripes...but I like the kind that the yarn does all of the work, not me!

Love the cute octopus...I was taught how to make those curly things by LaChapa!

Those socks are so cute!  I always have a pair going.  The yarn is lovely!  I knit them using 4 dpns instead of the usual three...I tried using circulars but did not dealing with the "cord"...I love knitpicks needles...I have tried a few brands and they are my favorite!

carol--your quilts are lovely and nice gifts, but I really love that purse!

I made this originally for a Halloween swap but it was going to cost a lot of money to send international, so I had to make something else.  That's OK, because I love to decorate for Halloween so it will fit right in with my other stuff.  It is a jar of human eyeballs...I made a bunch by drawing red blood lines on Dollar store eyeballs.  I wrapped them in gauze and dripped alcohol ink on them (red, of course!)...the bottom is a cheap candle holder that I dug up out of my Goodwill box...the top is a jar...I dripped wax on it because I saw it on Pinterest...Grin.

Close up of an eyeball (only three would fit!)--anyone need a spare eyeball? ha ha!

I also made a shell stitch baby blanket for a local charity and am working on another.  I would like to give them 3 if I can manage before next Thursday!

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Ethel (Swoon Pattern) first time doing one on: May 27, 2016 05:02:00 PM
I thin the bag turned out beautifully!  I love your choice of fabrics and the shape is nice and the size is large enough to stash all things needed!
