I also wanted to show you what I made with the cute geisha doll cut outs that teag sent to me....I made book markers to donate to the library reading room.  People can take a handmade book marker when they check out a book...

Thanks, teag, for the template so I can make many more!

I received my happy mail package from edelc!

Here is the whole lot!  She sent a piece of fabric hand stamped with her own stamp!  An ATC made with limited edition Alice fabric...glitter jigsaw puzzle pieces...cute quilled flower...a tiny bunting (I love bunting!)...and some gorgeous papers that she hand marbelized...

Close up of gorgeous envelope and paper!

Close up of the detailed Alice fabric ATC!  I love this!

Thanks, edelc!  I always enjoy getting packaged from across the pond! Grin

I made a few small projects as I was working on my IYP swap wall hanging...just to feel productive...

More coasters...

Blue set

Green set (one must be in use somewhere!)

Two scrappy mug rugs

I received the cutest little geisha style cut-outs from teag in the Happy Mail Swap, so I made them into book markers that will be donated to the library:

Hope everyone is over the back to school craziness and in the holiday season crafting mood!

glad your package arrived! I had so much fun trying to stick to a theme of leftover scraps to use for this swap!  I hope you will try to make some of the fabric with the supplies I sent...so much fun!

I knew the outside envelope would be hard to take a picture of since so much of it had our addresses...so here is the decorated envelope I sent to teag! (thanks to photoshop!)

I had a blast swapping with you and will soon be done with my cute geisha project!!!

Those awnings are awesome!  I would love to make an awning over our back door...when it is raining, the poor little kids have no place to keep dry while they wait to come in for their lessons!

My partner in the IYP swap received!  She and I agreed on one medium piece of art for our homes.  I got a fantastic weaving made of her handspun wool...just gorgeous!  I made her a watercolor/stitched wall hanging.

I love that hat!  Can't wait to see the Spiderman one as well!

My brother comes to visit me every month for dinner...when he leaves, he takes a set of coasters.  I have no idea what happens to them...I think he loses them or gives them away, but he is always needing coasters.  I don't mind because I can use up scraps of fabric and batting.  Here is the set I gave him tonight, which is fitting since I cooked a Japanese meal for him!

What a beautiful display of happy mail, rackycoo!  Each piece is a lovely piece of art...and I love that some had to be assembled! Grin

Hope you will post those on their own as well...

I have missed this gallery...I totally put this swap to the back of my mind...and now, I am so busy writing down all of the great ideas!  Wow--who knew there was so many doo-dads and things to make and receive!  I can see a lot of projects using so many of them!

I received my first happy mail from teag! The envelope was so lovely..I had to show off some of the beautiful writing...

And inside, there are not only finished items, but templates and blanks for me to try my own hand at it!

These little geisha dolls are my favorite!!!  I plan on making these into notecards!

And look at this lovely paper!  I am doing my first junque journal so these will be perfect!

Thanks so much for my happy mail!

This gallery really is set up tp showcase so many off the chart creative pieces!  I would love to swap with any one of you anytime!  Wowza!  I probably spend a few minutes each day drooling over the gallery...

Talk about drooling...my partner, LeapFeetFirst, has been a craftster crush of mine from day 1!  I got to meet her in Canada and am more star struck than ever...I have always admired her yarns and art...so when she asked me to the dance, I probably stuttered a bit when I said "yes"!

She must have stalked me to know that I have a thing for fiber arts and textiles...weaving in particular...she made me a gorgeous wall hanging out the most beautiful yarn!!!  I love it so much!  All of the textures, lumps and bumps...

Close-ups of what she says is her first weaving on a rigid heddle loom...sure... Wink

She also sent me some cool ceramic buttons (I love them for purses and art projects)...I forgot to take a pic so I will post those later...

Thanks so much for swapping with me, LeapFeetFirst!!!
