I love those towels!

I made another coaster set from the scraps of the quilts I have been working on.  My brother took them to give to Aunt Janet since it was her 80th birthday. She likes Americana things.

Nice hood!  I like the lace edge!

I made another Divine Hat and a scarf set for a friend of mine...the last set I made her was looking really ratty...I'll give it to her this fall so she won't forget where she stored it!

YAY!  Did you know that you and me made the same project last year?

The one you made for MissingWillow, my friend!

Great minds think alike! Grin (or else, this is just too creepy!)

I have been watching way too many shark shows this week!  Love you love for sharks, Smeddley.  They are creatures to be admired and respected while in their element.

that1girl--love the hood and the tiny booties!

fluffypants...your jewelry box makeover makes a Whovian swoon!!  BUT...I must say that your lamp shade really blew me away!

Three more quilt blocks:

Two more crochet mandalas--these are actually for my own craft room!

SUPER EASY!  I use the thin cardboard that comes with fat quarters and also some old recipe cards that I found in my mom's stuff...

1. Use a glue stick to temporarily stick scrap fabric to the cardboard...just a few dabs

2. use a zig zag to sew it on the cardboard

3. trim and then cut out shapes  if you want...I usually do hearts...these have glitter glue around the edges..

4.  Use all the left overs to glue in a mosaic pattern, then use a fat sharpie to make the "grout"

I did a longer tutorial here:

Here are a couple of smaller, say, about 6 inches, mandalas for a friend who is having a streak of bad luck...hopefully, they will cheer her up!

Hand for size reference:

wow--that must have been emotional for everyone!  Embarrassed

My brother has my dad's helmet that was smashed when his helicopter crashed...he saved his life...

On a happier note, I am glad I joined the quilt block swap as it is making me use up my stash!

I needed a way to store my 2x2 inch scrap squares, so I took that plastic needlwork stuff, a tin box and made something that will work.  Scraps are organized based on color.

Little strip scraps are then grouped together to make coasters.  My brother loves to steal my coasters so I always have a few sets ready for when he comes to visit.  He likes giving them to friends and random strangers...he is a bit odd:

I usually keep one from each set:

Too small sized pieces are sewn onto any kind of thin cardboard, folders, paper, etc.  I will use these for notecards or
other small art projects...

Finally, after cutting the above, any leftovers are used to make my mosaic notecards...yeah, I can't throw anything out! Grin
