I apologize to my fabulous partner for not being active and posting sooner...with all of the holiday prep and things going on, strike 3---I got sick!  Undecided

I am still ill, but feel a bit better, so I quick scanned my piece from craftylittlemonkey...this is how it was sent...and now to get brave and cut out the pieces to make...Huh?? I am working on it as I catch-up on some normal TV shows!  Cheesy

If you have better pictures of the "before", please post them...the stitching is so fabulously neat and tiny....

Oh..and thanks for the nice comments on my winter landscape....I had a blast trying something a bit different.

Next to Halloween, the winter holidays are my favorite!  Love seeing all that red and green, silvers and blues...

The cards are just beautiful, bunny!

LBABB---you are cranking out the hat and scarf sets!  I love that it is getting to feel like yarn weather...hard to knit when the weather has been so warm around here!  lol--yoga frog kills me...still doing patches, I see...good!

bethntim--wow--those ornaments look quite complex...

Anyway, I did manage to make a scarf for my "niece"...I already posted the hat  but I wanted her to have a set...

LBABB--I think the highest number of projects ever posted was 267...I will check it out and let you know...this group is amazing...talented, productive, and just loads of fun...and there will be a 2017 group, so no worries!

bunny--that is what I love about you...you find a need and you fill it with your many crafting talents!  A special box for six decks of cards!  I love the washed paint look you gave it...

The scarves are lovely, too...I have not ordered beads yet...I just love that you are adding them to your yarn projects!

yoopidou--the coasters and mug rug turned out fantastic!  The extra embroidery is wonderful and I just adore scrappy projects!

haha bethntim...I have an idea for our new bathroom sign at work...I have to figure out how to do something that is not destructive or permanent but will give people a laugh for a day...and yes, lots of everyday superheroines here!  Makes me proud...and I am going to come here more often to remind myself of that...amazing how my mood changes and stays positive on this site.

I was in the Happy Mail swap and did two packages. You can see what I put inside on that thread if you are interested...but here are the envelopes I did for them, with personal info photoshopped out the best I could.

For edelc, who LOVES flamingos!

For teag, who LOVES tea!

I also wanted to show you what I made with the cute geisha doll cut outs that teag sent to me....I made book markers to donate to the library reading room.  People can take a handmade book marker when they check out a book...

Thanks, teag, for the template so I can make many more!

I received my happy mail package from edelc!

Here is the whole lot!  She sent a piece of fabric hand stamped with her own stamp!  An ATC made with limited edition Alice fabric...glitter jigsaw puzzle pieces...cute quilled flower...a tiny bunting (I love bunting!)...and some gorgeous papers that she hand marbelized...

Close up of gorgeous envelope and paper!

Close up of the detailed Alice fabric ATC!  I love this!

Thanks, edelc!  I always enjoy getting packaged from across the pond! Grin

I made a few small projects as I was working on my IYP swap wall hanging...just to feel productive...

More coasters...

Blue set

Green set (one must be in use somewhere!)

Two scrappy mug rugs

I received the cutest little geisha style cut-outs from teag in the Happy Mail Swap, so I made them into book markers that will be donated to the library:

Hope everyone is over the back to school craziness and in the holiday season crafting mood!

glad your package arrived! I had so much fun trying to stick to a theme of leftover scraps to use for this swap!  I hope you will try to make some of the fabric with the supplies I sent...so much fun!

I knew the outside envelope would be hard to take a picture of since so much of it had our addresses...so here is the decorated envelope I sent to teag! (thanks to photoshop!)

I had a blast swapping with you and will soon be done with my cute geisha project!!!

Those awnings are awesome!  I would love to make an awning over our back door...when it is raining, the poor little kids have no place to keep dry while they wait to come in for their lessons!

My partner in the IYP swap received!  She and I agreed on one medium piece of art for our homes.  I got a fantastic weaving made of her handspun wool...just gorgeous!  I made her a watercolor/stitched wall hanging.
