5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / CAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?? Thread advice on: November 13, 2006 03:52:12 AM
Hello Smiley

Just wondered if anyone can help me decide on which product I should buy...

I am making little trinkets to sell for fundraising - light beads only.
So I want something cost effective, good quality and not going to break in 2 weeks. I want the buyer to be happy with what they have bought to help support the charity.

I found a good supplier but I am confused as to which would be better. I have googled for opinions but as expected nothing much there.

So if you have used any or all of these products can you please spare me a bit of time and tell me your experiences.

6  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Closed: Chain Game 2006 on: August 20, 2006 07:07:29 AM
What you do is write what could be done with the item the previous person has listed.

You could even add a tutorial-recipe-whatever or provide a link if you wish Smiley

When you have added your reply add a new item at the bottom for the next person to answer.

This will hopefully give people new ideas, or remind them of old favourites Smiley

Okay I will start

What could I do with....................... A cardboard tube

Thats what i dont to do so I thought I would ask....

I bought some off cuts of material and I would love to make some heat packs for my Mum. Anyway is there a way to tell if a fabric is flammable when you have no idea what the fabric is?Huh

I did find some calico so I guess that would be fine, but there is also lovely coloured fabrics etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
