Mmmm...fish tank...prime pet tarantula real estate. Cover the bottom with peat moss a few inches deep, use some wire screening to cover the top, put a piece of cork bark in the corner so she'll have a place to hide out, get a reptile water dish for the other corner, and visit your local pet store that sells exotics. You can get a Chilean Rose Tarantula for not a lot of money, and they are really sweet spiders--great for beginning keepers. But if you're lucky enough to find a Brazilian Black, get her no matter what the cost--they are just adorable! Big, gentle, and really, really beautiful.
i adopted my ex boyfriends tarantula when he could no longer care for it. never thought i'd have one and the new boy isnt crazy about it, but i do love it. not sure what kind it is.
