21  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Pizza Pocket Purse on: May 02, 2007 09:53:09 AM
While brainstorming for this challenge I couldn't help but think of my most favorite food - Pizza.  I've never seen it crocheted before so I came up with this.........a pizza purse.

With pepperoni, green pepper and mushrooms of course!

The inside.....

And laying flat.  This view is making me hungry.

Well, I'm off to grab some lunch....guess what it is?
22  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Isobel Scarf in SWS on: April 12, 2007 03:00:09 PM
I knitted this scarf for a co-worker who is leaving.  I know it seems kind of late in the year for a scarf but we still have alot of snow!

The pattern is from www.cidermoon.com  I think it was intended for a lighter weight yarn, but I like it anyway.  I'm going to add a fringe before I give it to her.
23  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Cute Baby Sweater for an Even Cuter Baby. on: March 26, 2007 07:37:02 PM
Well.......at least I think its cute.  I'd be interested in knowing what you all think.  It got rave reviews at the baby shower of a coworker last weekend.  But then again, I've never been to a shower where people pronounce things as being crap.

Here is the pattern
 http://www.caron.com/projects/br/br_cno986_baby_hoodie.html

Okay...here it is....

The sleeves are folded back a little.  I really liked this pattern.  It was a very quick project.  Great for a shower.
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Squidora! on: February 19, 2007 06:34:27 PM
Here is my entry for the crochet challenge.  Its a fedora...its a squid....its a squidora!  I'm really pleased with how it turned out.  I sewed some craft wire into the brim so it can be manipulated to whatever shape you prefer.

This shot shows how the tentacles curl over the hat..

Here is an action shot.  My camera sucks!

25  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Purse of Many Colours on: January 22, 2007 06:48:51 PM
Wow, it seems pretty lonely in this challenge so far.  Here is my entry.  A purse...big surprise for me - I seem to knit a lot of purses.  My daughter has already claimed this.

Very simple, esentially a large rectangle in the required stitch pattern.  A stockingknit 'flap' with button hole and two 1 x 1 ribbed sides with a 'triangular' shape for width.  I lined it with some recycled fleece.

26  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Big Rug for little Dog! Swap Spoiler-Don't look Caradee on: January 12, 2007 07:47:55 PM

Its made from an old flannel sheet torn into 1 inch strips.   It took about 3/4 of the sheet!  The sheet had some pale beige stripes, hence the spotty look.

The pattern came from the 2007 Pattern a day calendar.  (It didn't call for a sheet however)

==================
Edited to add new pic in better daytime light.

Well, I can't believe that I'm the first to receive and the first to post.  I'm usually closer to last!  Behold my fabulous goodies!!!!

I told my swap partner that Claire was my favorite character.  She used this great quote to make this address book for me. "Do you know how popular I am?  I am so popular everyone at this school loves me so much.

She also made me a stenciled T-shirt depicting Claire's lipstick trick.

She asked if I had any requests, and I asked for magnets....so check these out.  If you recall Claire had sushi packed for her lunch that day

And finally this wonderful necklace!  Its made of pixie sticks.  Pretty cute.!!!!

I want to thank my swap partner DahliaFerraria so much!  I just love everything.

So come on everyone...post your goodies too!!!
30  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Here's Amy! on: December 01, 2006 09:07:05 PM

Here is my entry.  I wasn't sure I would enter her or not, but I thought what the heck.  She's mine and I love her.  In case some of you are wondering, that black blob on her shoulder is actually a crocheted flower Cheesy..my photo skills are lacking.

By the way, don't you think this challenge has been amazing?  We've certainly had some awesome entries for this challenge.  Kudos to vanillaxlight for this great idea.  I can't wait til the next one!
