Smiley ............Loving all the yarn porn today!  But I gotta say............I am drooling over the sushi colored one krafty_kelly!................And I think that's a very appropriate name for it.......... Cheesy

Thanks!  I love your unnamed single a lot too.  I'm finding it tough coming up with clever names.

You know how there are all those name generators out there (Like your elvin name or your wizard name or even your prison bitch name).  Someone needs to come up with a yarn name generator!

I have a few this week.  No clever names though.

The first one has been languishing for quite some time.  Its sushi colored corriedale from etsy seller christinamariepotter.  Loads of yardage here!

Here is some of the samples that I got in the March phat fiber box.  I spun them all together and plied with a natural corriedale single that had been on the bobbin forever.

And finally these are leftover of bits and bobs that I didn't think I had enough to do anything with.  I wound it into a centerpull ball before I took a decent picture.

I just found a site that is canadian (and being canadian, I like to shop canadian-no surprise exchange rate LOL)  and their pricing and shipping are great!!  they even stock yak and camel fiber!!! too much fun!  gotta wait until payday in may though, which works out well for the swap wooo!

Care to share the site?  Pretty please.

Is it just me or are the yarns more spectacular than usual this week?

I particularly love 'life's a gas'.  I just love the colour combo.

I did spin a little this week, but nothing quite finished.  I did finish the mittens that I spun the yarn for last week, so I"ll show those off instead.

I'm thinking of remaking my PVC niddy noddy.  Or cutting it down a bit.  I went with a tutorial I found online somewhere, but now my skeins are too big for the swift that I just bought.

Do you get calluses when spinning these dryer fibers?

Is that how you spin flax?  With water?  I have so much to learn.

Here is my yarn this week.  I had it done by Friday but am only just getting around to posting now.

There is about 150 yards of dk weight, 2 ply, corriedale.

It wants to be mittens.  Right away.

Well, 1 mitten anyway.
