1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: Where do you get those vintage junkfood charms? on: August 16, 2006 01:41:56 PM
oh my god.  Are these really considered vintage?  I used to have a charm necklace full of these in elementary school... and I'm not even 30 yet!
2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / map lamp on: March 02, 2006 02:28:42 PM
I recently came into a large amount of old maps from national geographic.  I'd like to somehow attach one to a lamp shade.

Can I modge podge paper onto a cheap shade?  The shade is covered in a thin layer of white fabric.

Any other suggestions?

THANKS!
Jaimek

Hi!  I moved to VT about 1 1/2 years ago... I got married at the Grand Isle Lake House in Grand Isle.  It was realllllly nice and I'm happy we chose that place.

I've been to weddings at North Hero House (YUCK!) and the Skinner Barn in Waitsfield (very nice).  We looked at Kingsland Bay State Park (nice if you're have a very small wedding, but you have to be out by set), and Basin Harbor Club (too resorty).
