1  cabley hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: January 25, 2007 06:12:04 AM
it's definitely been a chicago winter, so I made this hat with really thick yarn. I made the whole thing stockinette instead of just the cabled parts, which makes the cables a little more low-key.

2  totoro wrist cuff, for no real reason in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: January 25, 2007 06:10:13 AM
I knit this Totoro bracelet thingy on a whim, and am giving it to a friend of mine. I think I'm going to knit more Totoro stuff soon, because it's really satisfying...

5  it was toooooo hot, so I.... in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: August 05, 2006 09:43:06 PM
...turned into a polar bear and moved to the North Pole.

Inspired by knitty's coif and SnB Nation's Russian Winter (although I didn't even come close to using either of those patterns) and a bunch of fuzzy white yarn that my boyfriend tried to dissuade me from buying. But it was a dollar....

6  the goofiest bunny in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: June 21, 2006 08:12:01 PM
Yet another permutation of Jess Hutch's bunny. What a terrific pattern. Anyway, this bunny is rather wonky if you ask me, but she was fun to make and I don't think my five-year-old cousin is picky in the way of stuffed animals.

So my roommate really, really loves dinosaurs. So I made her a dino hat! He is kind of disgruntled, but soft.

8  just a little headband in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: April 02, 2006 10:19:22 PM
Instant gratification. And I just cut all my hair off recently so headbands are playing a newly important role in my life.

Camera face!

9  the mama purse! avec une fleur orange in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: March 21, 2006 12:54:44 PM
Several months ago my mom bought this orange silk poncho thing and it didn't really fit or something, and she gave it to me and said "here, this is pretty fabric, cut it up and do something with it." So it sat in my closet for some time, until I decided to resurrect it in flower form for this purse, which I'm giving to my mom for her birthday tomorrow. What goes around comes around.

Moms can never have too many purses. They need to carry around a lot of kid-related junk, and do it with flourish, no?

10  reddish hat! DnD dice bag! first post! in Knitting: Completed Projects by eve_eve_eve on: March 10, 2006 09:29:37 PM
I started knitting a couple months ago and I think I'm certifiably addicted. I've done a bunch of scarves, of course, but here are two other things I made, a warm hat for myself and a dice bag for a DnD friend of mine. Hope you find them pwetty.

Making a bizarre face.

Hmm, I seem to have rolled a natural twenty....
