hOORAY FOR Pictures!!!

Gus and his interpretive dance in his lovely leaf crown...

ALL my lovely goodies together...

My lovely WALTER bowling bag.. (there was green nailpolish and awesome jesus magnets inside, but the pics did not really work...)

And the racy card  (and jam for pancakes...yummy lingonberries) to top it all off!..

I love it all and am very lucky.

(p.S. pamplemousse: walter is in danger of coming off...how do I secure him?) and of course..where are your pictures?  Smiley

3  More Mrs. Beetons, warm and cozy! in Knitting: Completed Projects by knittingtwit on: May 26, 2006 11:35:02 AM
Here are my mrs beetons,

made for my mum on mother's day.  I was unable to find the suggested wool in Edmonton, so use a cashmere (green) and a mohair silky...with gold seed and green glass beads.

they were quick and easy and a good starter project I think....

Also a great quick gift...

My mum took these pictures at work and thought her hands looked too "wise". thanks to Sandra the hand model!

Thanks for looking!

Here are my petticoat socks. They were lots of fun to make. A nice stitch repeat. Yo may consider doubling the woool on the heel and toe though....

5  Cupcake Hat in Knitting: Completed Projects by knittingtwit on: April 13, 2006 04:28:17 PM
This is my first real post! Hooray!

I made this hat for Almostascone ...I wanted to participate in the unconditional swap, but I am too new, so I made it anyway!  There is always more than enough yarn at my house for fun things like this....

the pattern is here.....At Chili con yarne

http://grandbluedoor.com/knitblog/?cat=3

And here are the photos....

Fresh from the oven...

and

and this one bobo says is "to show texture"

I hope someone enjoys the photos.....

FYI I first started by trying to make the hat bigger and casting on with 100 stitches for an adult sized hat, because the pattern said it was a kid's hat, but then I frogged and tried it with the directions given, and my gauge worked just fine for an adult sized head.
