i made this turkey from a vintage VIP cut and sew screenprint, and I love him to bits! we really don't have any thanksgiving decorations, so he's all alone on the occasional table. it's time he's found some friends. don't you think?
this my first (and probably only) rug punch ever! it was made for a traditional crafting class that i'm taking. i love the FO but it was extremely time-consuming and it made my back hurts so much. i didn't have a hoop, so i had to hunch over our coffee table.
this is a sampler for a larger Charley Harper inspired piece i'll be working on shortly. it took a while to get the hang of making all of the loops uniform. i particularly like the long shaggy ones :-)
A dear friend is moving to the other side of the country, and I wanted to give a special going-away gift. All materials, with the exception of the embroidery pattern and floss, were vintage and source on etsy from various sellers. I planned this apron weeks ago and just wrapped it up today. I used the pattern from Lotta Jansdotter's Simple sewing, and a Sublime Stitching transfer kit.
